It is not right to say that if there is no cow, there is no horse. Nirvana is also the same. There is no Nirvana in afflictions, and there are no afflictions in Nirvana. Therefore, it is called that one does not exist in the other. And so on, it is extensively explained. Furthermore, in that very sutra, the emptiness of form and so on, and the non-emptiness of form and so on, are well distinguished, and it is taught as follows: Kaundinya, form is empty. Due to the cessation of empty form, one will attain liberation from the aspect of non-empty form. Likewise, it should be understood extensively in the same way for feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness. These are, in order, form and so on of adventitious defilements, and form and so on of the Tathagatagarbha. Similarly, one should understand by applying them in order to other things as well, such as form and so on of conventional, artificial, adventitious phenomena, and form and so on of the ultimate nature, intrinsic nature. Among these, form and so on of adventitious defilements are impermanent, suffering, selfless, impure, not free from birth, aging, sickness, and death, ignorance, becoming the cause of birth, becoming the cause of the four inversions, becoming the cause of immeasurable non-virtuous dharmas, bound by bonds, the cause of the continuum of things, not a place of refuge, like a wound, and not fully pacified. The Tathagatagarbha Dharmakaya is the opposite of these. As it is said in that very sutra: The Blessed One said to the venerable Ajnata Kaundinya, 'Form is impermanent. Due to the cessation of form, one will attain liberation, that is, permanent form. Feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are also impermanent. Due to the cessation of consciousness, one will attain liberation, that is, permanent consciousness. Kaundinya, form is suffering. Due to the cessation of form, one will attain liberation, that is, attaining the form of bliss. Feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness should also be understood extensively in the same way.'

For example, the bodies of male and female, and desire for food, attachment, hatred, delusion, miserliness, jealousy, unwholesome mind, stingy mind, clinging to food, consciousness of food, thought of food, touch of food, egg-born, womb-born, moisture-born, spontaneously born, the five desires, the five obscurations, and other dharmas are all born from form. Due to the cause of (bad) form, the liberated form will obtain a body without immeasurable faults. Feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness should also be understood as expanding in the same way. Kaudinya, form is bound by bondage and not liberated. Due to the cessation of form, the liberated form will obtain refuge. Feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness should also be understood as expanding in the same way. Kaudinya, apart from the Dharma of the Buddha, there is no other Shramana, no Brahmin, and no Dharma of Shramanas and Brahmins. All heretics are merely false speech, without true conduct. Although they pretend to be those two forms, the place of those two forms does not exist. Why is that? Because Shramanas and Brahmins
