The object to be purified is immaculate, and the object to be purified is contaminated. Please consider whether these two are one or not one. The object to be purified is completely purified, and the object to be purified is all afflictions. Please consider whether these two are one or not one. There are many other such cases. The perfected nature and Madhyamaka are only different in name, but there is no difference in meaning. This is the view of the Dzogchen tradition. The faulty tradition of the three-combined-and-separated believes that the unchanging perfected nature is only Cittamātra. All three natures are also taken to be only Cittamātra. In the flawless Dzogchen Madhyamaka scriptures, the three natures are repeatedly mentioned, and such statements are not found in the Cittamātra scriptures, and because there are many objections to it, the three natures belong only to Madhyamaka. This originated from the Dzogchen tradition. Therefore, not understanding such distinctions and being confused leads to the dregs of views. The Madhyamaka texts that teach the three natures, such as the perfected nature, are also reduced to Cittamātra texts. The great scholars who teach these Madhyamaka texts are also reduced to Cittamātra practitioners. They ultimately fall into slandering the evil scriptures that teach that ultimate Madhyamaka is not established in any way, and those who fall into the extreme of nihilism and annihilation, are praised, honored, and extolled as Madhyamaka practitioners. This is grasping what is not it as it, the words of a demon. For the Dzogchen that arises from the three-combined-and-separated, such wrong views are like rabbit horns. The faulty ones of the three-combined-and-separated say that although the ultimate truth is not established in any way, because the karmic results of conventional truth are infallible, we are liberated from the extremes of existence and non-existence. If there is no ultimate truth, how can there be conventional truth? If there is no pervader, how can there be the pervaded? If there is no basis, how can there be dependence? If there is no inherent nature, how can there be adventitiousness? If there is no suchness, how can there be suchness-possessing? If it exists, isn't suchness universally present? If it is impossible for the ultimate truth to not exist, then isn't it contradictory to the ultimate truth not being established in any way? The division of Madhyamaka into Svatantrika and Prasangika is not a valid division of Madhyamaka, because it is not a valid division of Suchness. Although such a division is not mentioned in the Dzogchen scriptures, it appears in the faulty scriptures of the three-combined-and-separated. This also causes the dregs of views to increase. The division of Madhyamaka in the Dzogchen tradition is the nine perfected natures, and so on.

Crores and, the distinctions of lineages spoken of in the tantras, and all that is shown by the distinctions of names well spoken of in the 'Ultimate Names Praise Tantra', are distinctions of the great Madhyamaka free from extremes. Likewise, all the distinctions that are spoken of as the profound and ultimate nature, become distinctions of the great Madhyamaka free from extremes. There is not a single compounded thing mixed in this, it becomes a distinction of the uncompounded dharmadhatu. There is not the slightest impermanence mixed in this, it becomes a distinction of the permanent, stable, and enduring realm. There is not a single conventional truth mixed in this, it is a distinction of only the ultimate, perfectly established truth. There is not even the slightest difference in essence, the differences in name and form are very many. Because the dharmadhatu is many, the meaning is one taste. Names are many, meanings are one taste, forms are many, essence is one taste. Therefore, this is the ultimate perfection of wisdom, the great nirvana, the great seal, the exceedingly yoga, the vajra yoga, the co-emergent union, the wheel of time, bliss and joy, etc., all the distinctions of the profound and ultimate. If you know this, then knowing one is knowing all. For all the profound and ultimate natures, you will become a great scholar without ignorance. Both Svatantrika and Prasangika are compounded. Therefore, they fall to the extreme of entities, and because they are cut off to the side of existence, they are not Madhyamaka. That which is not Madhyamaka cannot be the basis of distinction of Madhyamaka, nor can it be a part of what is divided, just as that which is not valid cognition cannot be the basis of distinction of valid cognition, nor can it be a part of what is divided. That which is not truth cannot be the basis of distinction of truth, nor can it be a part of what is divided. Although the Dzogden system is like that, those with the defects of the three-fold cutting school say, that merely being free from extremes is called Madhyamaka, but in reality there is no Madhyamaka. Madhyamaka is also empty because it is emptiness, if that is so, then for the ultimate dharmakaya, the nature body, the co-emergent body, and the permanent, stable, enduring, eternal, all-pervading, all Buddhas, Dharma, and Sangha, by slandering them, it will become a great sinful view. Because they are not empty of themselves, but are said to be other-empty and profound. In all the pure and profound sutras and tantras, emptiness
