In order to show that he was with the attendant Bodhisattvas, he closely showed the attendants of the two bodies of the Tathagata. After generally showing the common introduction of all Sutras, now, in order to explain this Prajnaparamita, he showed the difference in the introduction. Then, at that time, the Bhagavan set up a lion throne, in order to generate a very subdued mind. In accordance with mind training, he straightened his body and sat upright. In order to do one thing, in accordance with meditating on Samadhi, he manifested his intention. In order to generate a very subdued body, in accordance with body training, he sat in the lotus position. Why did he personally set up the lion throne? For two reasons: to show that the explanation is uncommon and that it is very worthy of offering, and to tame the retinue. It is like what is said in many other Sutras: If the Bhagavan teaches the Dharma that is in accordance with the Hearer Vehicle, he sits on the seat of the Hearers; if he teaches the Dharma that is in accordance with the Great Vehicle, he sits on the seat of the Bodhisattvas. Thus it is said. When explaining this Dharma, he personally set up the seat in order to show that this explanation is uncommon, and even the seat was personally set up by me, so deep, let alone the explanation. In addition, many to-be-tamed ones gather here, and their interests and thoughts are also different. Therefore, in order to be in accordance with them, the seat should be set up. Also, it was personally set up. Thus, said the great Madhyamika master Vasubandhu, who is known as the second Buddha. After dwelling there, he showed the name with a definite word, called the King of Samadhi, because all the respective actions of all Samadhis can be accomplished by this one Samadhi alone. Therefore, in this Samadhi, all Samadhis gather by their own nature. Then, the Bhagavan remembered his past vows, and the time to benefit sentient beings had come. With the eye of perfect knowledge and miraculous power, in order to observe whether the beings dwelling in this Buddha-field have the capacity or not, he looked at this Buddha-field. Then, ten strings of

Below, from the mouth of the Blessed One also came forth sixty kotis of nayutas, hundreds of thousands of rays of light. Why is it determined to be the number sixty? It is because it should be understood thus: the types of rays of light of the Tathagata are six kinds of colors, namely blue, yellow, red, white, madder, and clear light. When these six colors of light radiate in the ten directions, because the ten directions are different, they become sixty, therefore it is said thus. Then, if all the rays of light appear, is it not possible to accomplish all things? Why do rays of light come forth from all limbs and minor limbs? That is also true, but nevertheless, it is to show that great respect is given to this teaching, showing that great effort has been made. This was said by the great Madhyamika master, Vasubandhu, who is like the second Buddha. Among these rays of light, there are two functions, the first function is to illuminate the world, which is the sixty kotis of nayutas, hundreds of thousands of rays of light. Then, after six rosaries have passed, it is pervaded by great light. The second function is to benefit sentient beings, which is the light of any sentient being. Then, to show that great respect is given to the re-telling. The Blessed One emitted rays of light, and the function of this light is the same as before. This light illuminates the three thousand worlds. Then, after seven rosaries have passed. Then, the Blessed One again emitted the light of the nature of the Tathagata's body color, which is white, beautiful, and radiant, and its function is the same as before. Then, what is the difference between light and rays of light? To this, what comes from within is called rays of light, and what comes from the outer skin is called light. Or, what comes from wisdom is called rays of light, and what comes from color is called light. This is what the Madhyamikas say. Then, after six rosaries have passed. Then, as a sign of teaching the Dharma, the mouth of the Blessed One. Then, after a little more than one rosary has passed. Smiling here is to distinguish colors, allowing it to come forth from all limbs and minor limbs, and making it vast. Not hundreds and thousands appeared, but as a sign that Bodhisattvas are निश्चित (Tibetan, निश्चित, Devanagari, niścita, Romanized Sanskrit, nishchita, meaning: certain) entering a state of faultlessness, all these rays of light.
