Those in the garbage heap who do not believe in the Tathagatagarbha are none other than monks, who are definitely in the garbage heap and do not believe in the Tathagatagarbha. Any beings who used to live in any gatehouse and were lowly thieves are called dog-like. In the future, any beings who wander in other people's homes, those beings who do not believe in the Tathagatagarbha are none other than those monks, who are as lowly as dogs. Any beings who used to become cats, always craving to eat meat, those beings who do not believe in the Tathagatagarbha, still crave meat and become flesh-eating cat-shaped Rakshasas. In the future, any Rakshasas who become cat-shaped, kill others, and cannot bear to eat meat, those who turn away from the Tathagatagarbha are none other than Rakshasas who kill others and eat meat in the form of cats. Any beings who become mice and hermaphrodites, those beings who turn away from the Tathagatagarbha, still drink alcohol, become mice and hermaphrodites, and drink extremely unclean things. In the future, any beings who drink alcohol and are as lowly as hermaphrodites, because they are satisfied with worldly tastes, do not want the Tathagatagarbha. Those are none other than those who look at those hermaphrodites and mice. In the past, those beings who became disgusting worms and sinners, those beings who turned away from the Tathagata-garbha, still burn with anger and are filled with hatred in their hearts after hearing the Tathagata-garbha, which is undoubtedly no different from sinners. In the future, if there are beings who hear the Tathagata-garbha but do not believe that it is what the Buddha said, then they are none other than those monks who engage in hot and troublesome deeds like sinners. In the past, those beings who became disgusting poisonous snakes and spoke without praising the Tathagata-garbha will still become arrogant and become terrible poisonous snakes. In the future, if there are beings who do not praise the benefits of the Tathagata-garbha but speak ill of it and do evil deeds, then they are none other than those disgusting poisonous snakes. In the past, those beings who became foolish and timid sheep, did not understand merits, did not respect the Tathagata-garbha, and slandered the sutras, will still slander the sutras. These beings will surely become foolish and timid sheep. In the future, if there are beings who are sleepy and slander when they hear the Tathagata-garbha, then they are none other than those timid and cowardly beings. In the past, those beings who became timid buffaloes and turned away from the Tathagata-garbha will still become cowardly and greedy, like buffaloes bound by three wrong views. In the future, those beings who are greedy, cowardly, and timid, those beings who turn away from the Tathagata-garbha, are none other than buffaloes bound by three wrong views. 宣扬不合宜之语，必定如熊和豺狼一般。未来世中，凡是众生背离如来藏，宣扬不合宜之语的那些，不是别人，就是如熊和豺狼一般的僧人。先前变成迦陵频伽鸟的，背离如来藏，不相信，现在仍然是那些眼睛昏花的众生，必定是变成了迦陵频伽鸟。未来世中，凡是众生对如来藏隐瞒知识，做不好的罪恶之事，那些不是别人，不示如来藏者，必定是眼睛昏花的迦陵频伽鸟。先前变成驴子的，对如来藏不必要地生起心，那些现在仍然贫穷，像驴子一样吃粗糙的食物。未来世中，仍然贫穷，出生于受他人指使的恶劣种姓中。凡是对如来藏不相信，修习无我者，那些不是别人，就是贪欲的僧人，以及旃陀罗，和做驴子一般行为的人。先前变成身体矮小、獠牙长、丑陋、肚子大的非天，对如来藏恶语相向的那些，现在仍然身体矮小，变成肚子大的样子，那些必定是非天。未来世中，凡是众生肚子大、矮小、獠牙长、凶暴，对如来藏恶语相向的那些，不是别人，就是属于非天之列的众生。先前变成从口中发出火焰的饿鬼，对如来藏谩骂和嘲笑的众生，那些现在仍然嘴唇和上颚干燥，瘦弱的饿鬼，变成从口中发出火焰的生灵。未来世中，凡是身体极其瘦弱，对如来藏谩骂和嘲笑的那些众生，不是别人，必定是从口中发出火焰的虚弱饿鬼。等等。在《大云经》中也说：大云，对于心完全愚昧，颠倒错乱的如来藏，认为如来不是常恒的。

Those who previously became Kalavinka birds, turned away from the Tathagatagarbha and did not believe, even now those beings with dim eyes are certainly those who have become Kalavinka birds. In the future, those beings who conceal knowledge of the Tathagatagarbha and do evil deeds are none other than those who do not show the Tathagatagarbha, who are certainly Kalavinka birds with dim eyes. Those who previously became donkeys, unnecessarily generating thoughts about the Tathagatagarbha, will still be poor and, like donkeys, will eat coarse food. In the future, they will still be poor and born into evil castes at the command of others. Those who do not believe in the Tathagatagarbha and meditate on non-self are none other than monks who are full of desire, as well as Chandalas, and those who act like donkeys. Those who previously became short-bodied Asuras with long fangs, ugly, and with bellies, who spoke ill of the Tathagatagarbha, are still short-bodied and have bellies, and they are certainly Asuras. In the future, those beings who have large bellies, are short, have long fangs, and are fierce, who speak ill of the Tathagatagarbha, are none other than beings belonging to the class of Asuras. Those who previously became hungry ghosts with flames coming out of their mouths, beings who cursed and mocked the Tathagatagarbha, will still have dry lips and palates, emaciated hungry ghosts, and become creatures with flames coming out of their mouths. In the future, those beings who are extremely emaciated and curse and mock the Tathagatagarbha are none other than weak hungry ghosts with flames coming out of their mouths. And so on. Also in the Mahamegha Sutra: Mahamegha, for those who are completely ignorant and deluded about the Tathagatagarbha, thinking that the Tathagata is not permanent.
