May the intentions of all beings become the cause of virtue, and thus become the supreme adornment of all beings in the world. Just as the Three Jewels are superior to artificial jewels and in accordance with the Dharma, they also transcend the world, and therefore are the most supreme among all dharmas. Just as precious jewels do not change from top to bottom and are in accordance with the Dharma, the Three Jewels are also of unconditioned nature, and therefore will never change due to causes such as faith and lack of faith. Therefore, they are similar to precious jewels, hence the Precious Three Jewels. Thus it is said. Now, from the perspective of the establishment of the Three Jewels as the pure abode of the world and beyond, from what exists. To explain in detail the branches of the four abodes of attainment, there are three: the common exposition, the individual entities, and the benefits of these. There are four common expositions: how the four abodes become sacred places, these are also shown to be inconceivable, a detailed explanation of the reasons for this, and how the characteristics are established by cause and condition. Among these, how they become sacred places is: "The thusness with defilements" refers to: the very essence of the Dharma realm that has not been liberated from the womb of afflictions, which is said to be the essence of the Tathagata in the state of sentient beings. "The thusness without defilements" refers to: the nature of the state of complete transformation, free from all adventitious defilements from the practice of the path, which is said to be the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata in the state of Buddhahood. "The qualities of the Buddha without defilements" refers to: the ten powers associated with the Dharmakaya itself, the four fearlessnesses, and the eighteen unshared qualities, etc., the unfailing fruit, and the Buddha's Dharma, which is gathered by the maturing fruit such as the thirty-two major marks. "The deeds of the Victorious One" refers to: the ability to perfectly accomplish these qualities such as the ten powers, the incomparable activities that spontaneously accomplish the benefit of sentient beings and continuously accomplish them in accordance with each. Thus, from the four abodes of cause and condition, what produces the fruit of the Precious

The way these three supreme virtues arise is that it is the sole domain of the Buddhas, who possess the ultimate wisdom that directly perceives the truth of the ultimate nature of reality. That is what it says. The way these are inconceivable is: These three jewels as the fruit are the cause of arising and accomplishing. The meaning of these four states that become causes and conditions is: Directly seeing all aspects of knowable things is the domain of the wisdom of the Buddhas alone. And the meaning of these is: These four aspects, such as the element, are explained in the order as they are. Because it possesses four reasons, ordinary people cannot conceive of it as it is. That is what it says. The explanation of its reason is: What are these four reasons? The meaning of the thusness element with defilements is: At the time of one arising, the nature of the mind is primordially pure, and it is also possessed of temporary, adventitious defilements. Therefore, it seems that two contradictory things gather on one basis, so it is inconceivable. Because having faith in the profound Dharma is not the domain of the solitary realizer. Thus, in the Sutra Requested by Glorious Garland, it also says: Goddess, these two dharmas are difficult to realize: it is difficult to realize that the mind is naturally luminous, and it is difficult to realize that the mind itself is afflicted. Goddess, those who listen to these two dharmas are you, or bodhisattvas who possess the great Dharma. Goddess, the remaining Shravakas and solitary realizers can only realize these two dharmas through faith in the Tathagata. Thus it is said. The meaning of the stainless thusness, enlightenment, is: Previously, there was not even a little adventitious defilement, and later, through the practice of the path, all defilements become extremely pure. Therefore, it seems contradictory, so it is inconceivable. Because the mind is naturally luminous, it is known as it is. Therefore, with the wisdom of a moment, one obtains the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment.
