Being completely pure due to the absence of defilements, including afflictions and their imprints, and being radiant with the manifestation of wisdom that is free from the obscurations of knowledge, directly knowing all aspects, and for all objects to be aimed at, desiring and clinging to what is pleasant, being angry and hating what is unpleasant, and being ignorant and deluded towards what is neutral, like a dim darkness, all such conditions are completely destroyed, therefore it is the supreme antidote. With these three meanings, the sacred Dharma is like the sun, encompassed by the truth of the path, and to these, I respectfully bow from the depths of my heart. This is its meaning. To explain this meaning separately: The scripture just mentioned explains the Dharma Jewel, which possesses six or eight qualities. Namely: the quality of being inconceivable by mundane knowledge, the quality of being without both karma and afflictions, the quality of the absence of improper conceptualization of their causes, the quality of the complete purification of the defilements of afflictions, the quality of the manifestation of the light of wisdom, and the quality of destroying the darkness of the three poisons, being the quality of the antidote side. With just these six distinctions of substance, or if divided by opposition, the first three are the result, that is, the cessation of what should be freed from desire, and the latter three are the cause, that is, the path that frees from desire. Therefore, the eight qualities possessing the nature of the two truths of complete purification are the sacred Dharma. This is its meaning. To summarize these into two truths: What is called Dharma is the liberation from desire, which refers to the result of liberation from attachment, that is, the truth of cessation, and the method of liberation from attachment, which is encompassed by the truth of the path. Just as in the Gorima (a metaphor), these two truths are also, with the three qualities of being inconceivable, without duality, and without conceptualization, showing the truth of cessation with two kinds of purity, which should be understood as such. With the three qualities of purity, clarity, and antidote, it shows the truth of the path that can purify, which should be understood as such. This is its meaning. To combine these and explain the reasons: All these praises are reasons.

Therefore, the differences in qualities are gradually cultivated and explained. The ultimate goal to be attained, the truth of cessation, is neither existent, nor non-existent, nor both existent and non-existent, nor neither of the two, because it is not an object to be examined by the conceptual thought that clings to the four extremes; nor is it an object to be expressed by sounds, terms, definite words, and so on; but it is to be known by the self-aware wisdom that each individual noble one realizes in meditative equipoise. Therefore, for three reasons, it is beyond the comprehension of worldly minds. Moreover, because karma and defilements, along with the afflictions that arise from them, are pacified, it is of a non-dual nature. Because their cause, the non-virtuous conceptual thought, is pacified, it is of a non-conceptual nature. As it is said: Shariputra, what is called cessation is the Dharmakaya, the nature of non-duality, the dharma of non-conceptualization. As it is said. The cause for attaining this Dharmakaya is the purification of the qualities of the path of seeing and the path of meditation, as well as the clarity and antidote indicated by the word "etc.". These three should be understood like the sun through three corresponding dharmas. That is to say, the orb of the sun is completely pure and corresponds to dharma, being free from all stains of afflictions; it makes forms clear and corresponds to dharma, making all knowable aspects appear; as an antidote to darkness, it corresponds to dharma, acting as an antidote to all obstacles to seeing suchness. The nature of the Sangha Jewel, which holds this, has three aspects: stating the object from the perspective of praise, providing twofold proof of these qualities, and combining these to elaborate in detail. Among these, the praise is: The irreversible mind of the Bodhisattva is naturally luminous, the manifest antidote, because it directly sees that the nature of the afflictions to be abandoned is originally unborn. Therefore, the Bodhisattvas, the nature of all beings, realize the limit of the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena, or the nature of reality, the pacification of elaboration, just as it is, through the path of realizing it as it is, possessing the wisdom of knowing it as it is, and the Dharma.
