Without effort and spontaneously accomplished, the manifestation of non-conceptual wisdom is like a Chakravartin king who is mature and born. As it is said, the impurities dependent on the seven bhumis are like the womb, and the subtle impurities related to the three pure bhumis can be abandoned without effort, just as a golden statue is covered with a little mud. It should be understood as such. These are also destroyed by the vajra-like samadhi of the great masters of antidotes. Thus it is said that the impurities related to the three bhumis are shown as being like mud. Furthermore, to summarize the general meaning: As described above in detail according to the Dharma, the nine adventitious impurities such as attachment and aversion that obscure the Dharmadhatu are the same as the nine metaphors such as lotus and bee in order. This is the meaning. There are three ways to represent the distinctions of the nature of the Dharmadhatu: a brief explanation of how the three dharmas are represented by nine metaphors, an analysis of the meaning of each, and a detailed explanation of the nature of the analysis. Among them, the brief explanation is: The dhatu of the Tathagatagarbha, which is encompassed by the three natures to be explained, is the same as the nine metaphors that represent the essence, such as the body of the Buddha and honey. This is what it says. The differentiation is: What are the three natures? The nature of the Dharmadhatu Tathagatagarbha is the self-born wisdom Dharmakaya and the unchanging Suchness, and the lineage for attaining Buddhahood, these are the three. How are these represented by the nine metaphors? The three natures are, in order, the body of the Buddha, the three metaphors of honey and the essence of grain, one should know that the dhatu is the nature of the Dharmakaya, and with the metaphor of gold, one should know that it is the nature of Suchness, likewise the metaphors of treasure and trees, and the body of jewels, the Chakravartin and the golden statue.

The five are known as the nature of the lineage that accomplishes the three bodies. Thus it is. There are three elaborations: elaborating on the example and meaning of the Dharmakaya, showing the example and meaning of Suchness, and elaborating on the example and meaning of the lineage. There are two aspects to the example and meaning of the Dharmakaya: showing the distinctions of the Dharmakaya, and applying them to the examples. The distinctions are as follows: The nature Dharmakaya is also known to be of two kinds, by way of the distinction between the real and the imputed. The Dharmadhatu, the essence of the Thus-Gone One, which is utterly stainless and whose nature is luminosity, which is the object of the wisdom of individual self-awareness of the Buddhas, is the characteristic of the realized Dharmakaya. The teachings of the scriptures, which are the corresponding cause of realizing or attaining it, and which arise as various kinds of consciousness according to the capacity of those to be tamed, are the imputed teaching Dharmakaya. These should also be well distinguished by the distinction between what is to be said and what says it, or between the result and the cause. The teaching Dharmakaya is also of two kinds: In terms of the ultimate truth of Suchness, starting from the Bodhisattva Pitaka, it teaches the profound Dharma. In accordance with the thoughts of various sentient beings, in terms of the conventional truth, starting from the Sutras and the twelve branches of scripture, it teaches the vast and various ways. Thus it is. Applying it to the examples: The Dharmakaya, which is to be realized and is naturally completely pure, is completely beyond all worldly phenomena. Therefore, in this world, there is no example that can represent this Dharmakaya. Therefore, the Thus-Gone One, the self-arisen body residing in the lotus, and the naturally completely pure realm, are shown to be only somewhat similar. The corresponding cause of realizing it is difficult to fathom and has benefits, so the subtle and profound teachings of the ultimate truth show that all phenomena are of one taste in Suchness, just as all kinds of honey are sweet and delicious and of one taste. The vast twelve branches of scripture and so on are various kinds of means.

Regarding how to demonstrate, this is to understand the core meaning, and is related to the various meanings that are gradually guided. Just as the essence of grain that can be used exists inside various shells, it should be understood in this way. This is its meaning. The example and meaning of showing Suchness are: Whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, the Dharma-nature of all dharmas exists. As it is said. The nature of the mind, even when connected with endless suffering of afflictions, is still pure, luminous, and unchanging, therefore it is called Suchness. It is like unchanging pure gold, which does not change its nature in any situation, and like beautiful gold, which is naturally good and supreme, and like stainless gold, which has no afflictions from the beginning and is completely pure, therefore, this Dharmadhatu Suchness is likened to having the same image and nature as pure gold. This is its meaning. Explaining the example and meaning of lineage in detail has three points: showing the two lineages with examples, how to obtain the three Kayas from them, and combining these with examples. Among them, showing the two lineages with examples is: For example, a great treasure that does not need to be newly acquired through effort and has inexhaustible enjoyment, naturally exists underground; and a tree with fruits, obtained through effort, gradually grows in a garden. Similarly, the Buddha's lineage that can produce the three Kayas should also be understood as two types: the naturally pure nature lineage of Dharmadhatu that has existed as the nature of the mind since beginningless time; and the supreme growth lineage produced by the merit corresponding to the part of liberation, newly acquired through effort by aiming at it and doing listening and so on. This is its meaning. The way to obtain the three Kayas is: From these two lineages of the nature cause and growth, one wants to obtain the three Kayas of the perfect Buddha. That is, first of all, the naturally existing lineage.
