That is, sentient beings to be tamed in the world are directly connected to the great roots of virtue, and through it are connected to omniscience, because it exists with great meaning. That is its meaning. The way to gradually attain the ultimate Dharmakaya is: the infinite manifestations of the Rupakaya, this is because one's own mind is pure, so it is only the appearance of the image of the Buddha of true meaning, not the ultimate Buddha. Although the individuals of the children cannot fully understand, even if only seeing the Rupakaya of the Buddha, for the viewers to be tamed, it also has great significance. Because relying on gradually seeing the Rupakaya, in order to attain Buddhahood, those who abide in the profoundness of the Mahayana and have the merit of practicing the path, can themselves realize the luminous nature of the mind of true meaning, that is, the emptiness of the Dharmakaya, which is endowed with all virtues. Through the eye of wisdom of Samadhi without discrimination, it will be clearly seen. That is its meaning. A skillful explanation of this is: if the entire ground of Jambudvipa is completely free from dangerous places such as cliffs and abysses, presenting the self-luminous nature of immaculate lapis lazuli, and possessing the virtues of beautiful shapes and other jewels, free from the radiance of defilement, the top is as flat as the palm of the hand, and because it is clean, bright, and immaculate, like the surface of a mirror, then there, the abode of the Lord of the Gods, such as the excellent palace and other gatherings, and the Lord of the Gods, Indra, and many other kinds of gods, and the images of the infinite enjoyments of the heavenly realm will appear. Eventually, due to gradually departing from the virtues such as the manifestation of the earth, that image will disappear again. Relying on manifestation to manifest, in order to obtain the real object corresponding to the enjoyment of Indra, it is necessary to observe the eight precepts and other ascetic practices.

Entering into and resolving to give alms and offerings, etc., women and men who are prominently inclined, with the intention of desiring to attain the position of a deity, scattering and offering flowers and incense, etc., like entering into various virtuous deeds, like pure and immaculate beryl, in order to make one's own pure mind manifest the Sage of the Shakyas, princes and bodhisattvas who are extremely delighted with the Buddha, also, just as people do good deeds in order to attain the position of a deity, generate a great mind in the supreme place of Bodhi, and strive to practice the six perfections. Thus it is said, just as an image does not appear on an impure ground, those who do not have merit do not see the Buddha. Thus it is said. Briefly showing the principle of no birth and death is: For example, in the human world, the ground of beryl is free from dust and other impurities and is pure, just as the image of the body of a deity with enjoyment appears, the principle is also the same, for the ground of the minds of the beings to be tamed, without impurities such as disbelief and pure, then the image of the body of the Sage of the Shakyas with excellent signs will appear. Since this is the case, in the beings to be tamed, the appearance and disappearance of the image of the body of the Buddha is because one's own mind, which is free from impurities such as disbelief and is pure, completely enters, the form body appears, and because one's own mind, which has impurities such as disbelief and is not completely pure, completely enters, the form body disappears and enters. For example, in the human world, on pure and impure ground, the image of a deity appears and disappears, but the deity himself does not move from his own position. The principle is also the same, because the beings to be tamed are pure and impure, the form body appears to arise and cease, but on the ultimate Dharmakaya, the so-called birth and death never exist.

That is, because it is not accumulated and there is no change. That is its meaning. Regarding the way of teaching instructions by the example of a drum, there are three points: the way of teaching the sacred Dharma like a divine drum, the way the example surpasses others, and the way these also arise from conditions. Regarding the way of teaching, the reasons why the metaphor and meaning are consistent are explained in detail, and then they are combined again to summarize. Among the three aspects of detailed explanation, regarding the way of no effort: for example, in the realm of the gods, all the gods' previous good deeds, by the power of accumulating white virtuous deeds in common, for the great drum, there is no effort of wanting to express, etc., and the place where sounds arise, such as the tongue and palate, and the form together with consciousness, and the discriminations of motivation, etc., without these, all compounded things are impermanent, all things with defilements are suffering, all dharmas are without self, and all nirvanas are peaceful. Emitting such a sound, the gods whose minds are distracted by attachment to sensual pleasures are repeatedly urged to do good by the great drum of Dharma. Similarly, the all-pervading perfect Buddhas, although without effort of wanting to express, etc., pervade all beings to be tamed with the language of the Buddhas, so that they each understand their own language, and for those who have the good fortune of the three lineages, they show the vast Dharma of the three vehicles. That is its meaning. The reason for arising from karma is: for example, in the realm of the gods, the sound of the gods' great drum proclaims the four seals of Dharma, which is because the gods previously accumulated white virtuous deeds in common. Similarly, in the world, the Sugata, the perfect Buddha, in accordance with the minds of the beings to be tamed, proclaims immeasurable Dharma gates, which is also because of the power of the vast virtuous deeds accumulated by each sentient being. That is its meaning. The reason for accomplishing peace is: for example, there is no effort of wanting to express, etc., the place where sounds arise, the body together with consciousness, and various motivations.
