名称的意义是:梵语:Mahāyāna-uttara-tantra-śāstra(महायान उत्तर तन्त्र शास्त्र,mahāyāna uttara tantra śāstra,大乘,无上,续,论)。

The Treatise on the Sublime Continuum of the Great Vehicle, Called "A Good Explanation: Rays of Sunlight" The Treatise on the Sublime Continuum of the Great Vehicle, Called "A Good Explanation: Rays of Sunlight" Chapter One: The Section on the Essence of the Thus-Gone One Called "A Good Explanation: Rays of Sunlight." I prostrate to all glorious and excellent lamas and all perfect accomplishments. I prostrate, offer, praise, and take refuge in all those who, without denying what exists or fabricating what does not, realize and teach as it is. Having respectfully bowed to the ultimate nature of all profound natures, the ultimate basis and result, the essence of the Sugata, and the ultimate path, Vajra Yoga, I wish to explain its meaning. I prostrate to the twelve unchanging perfect accomplishments that are the basis empty of all conventional dharmas. I prostrate to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who attain, realize, and teach that. Especially to those who clearly reveal that meaning, the protector Maitreya and the brothers Asanga, and to all the teachers who teach the profound meaning of nature, such as Nagarjuna and his son, I will briefly write an explanation of the scripture that clearly shows the essence of the Sugata. Here, to explain in accordance with the commentary of the Noble Asanga on the Great Vehicle Sublime Continuum, there are four meanings: the meaning of the name that corresponds to the meaning, the general homage that accomplishes great meaning, the actual treatise that possesses supreme meaning, and the way in which that meaning is well translated. The meaning of the name is: In Sanskrit: Mahāyāna-uttara-tantra-śāstra. In Tibetan: The Treatise on the Sublime Continuum of the Great Vehicle. The general homage that accomplishes great meaning is: I prostrate to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. So it is. Now, the actual treatise that possesses supreme meaning will be explained with three meanings: the establishment of the body itself, the extensive explanation of the limbs, and the complete and perfect activity. There are three aspects to establishing the body itself: the meaning of the summary, combining it with the scriptures, and the way to determine the order. The first is: because the meaning of the summary is extracted from the great expanse and given to the student, it is easy to understand.

To understand thoroughly and to avoid adding embellishments and slanders to the detailed explanations of the branches, or for the sake of making it easier for the expounder to explain without confusing the treatises, it is also necessary to clearly show how much meaning this treatise summarizes. That is, what is to be obtained is the meaning of the Sang(སང༷ས,梵文:buddha,梵文罗马拟音:buddha, literal meaning: Buddha)gye(རྒྱ༷ས,梵文:buddha,梵文罗马拟音:buddha, literal meaning: Buddha)of perfect completion of both self and other benefits; and the meaning of the sacred Cho(ཆོ༷ས,梵文:dharma,梵文罗马拟音:dharma, literal meaning: Dharma)with the nature of the two truths of being free from desire; and the meaning of the Tsog(ཚོ༷གས,梵文:saṃgha,梵文罗马拟音:saṃgha, literal meaning: Sangha)Arya Sangha, which possesses two wisdoms and does not regress; and the meaning of the Kang(ཁ༷མས,梵文:dhātu,梵文罗马拟音:dhātu,literal meaning: realm)or realm of sentient beings, which is naturally completely pure, in order to truly understand the method of obtaining these; and the essence of realization, that realm being free from all defilements, the meaning of the unsurpassed Chang(བྱ༷ང,梵文:bodhi,梵文罗马拟音:bodhi, literal meaning: Bodhi)chub(ཆུ༷བ,梵文:bodhi,梵文罗马拟音:bodhi, literal meaning: Bodhi); and the branch of realization, connected with the great Bodhi, the meaning of the Yon(ཡོ༷ན,梵文:guṇa,梵文罗马拟音:guṇa,literal meaning: merit)ten(ཏ༷ན,梵文:guṇa,梵文罗马拟音:guṇa,literal meaning: merit)summarized by detachment and the ripened fruit; and the method for others to realize, the power of merit, the Sang(སང༷ས,梵文:buddha,梵文罗马拟音:buddha, literal meaning: Buddha)gye(རྒྱ༷ས,梵文:buddha,梵文罗马拟音:buddha, literal meaning: Buddha)'s Trin(འཕྲི༷ན,梵文:kṛtya,梵文罗马拟音:kritya, literal meaning: activity)le(ལ༷ས,梵文:kṛtya,梵文罗马拟音:kritya, literal meaning: activity)spontaneously accomplished and continuous meaning, the meaning of Tha(ཐ༷,梵文:aṃta,梵文罗马拟音:amta, literal meaning: end)ma(མ༷,梵文:aṃta,梵文罗马拟音:amta, literal meaning: end)or the future life that is taught. In short, if all the limbs or objects of all the treatises to be explained are taught in a summarized way, then like a Dorje(རྡོ༷,梵文:vajra,梵文罗马拟音:vajra, literal meaning: vajra)je(རྗེ༷,梵文:vajra,梵文罗马拟音:vajra, literal meaning: vajra), the Ne(ནི༷,梵文:vajra,梵文罗马拟音:vajra, literal meaning: vajra)or the seven words are these. That is to say, those meanings are inexpressible and are to be known by each individual, because they are difficult to measure with the wisdom arising from hearing and thinking, so they are like the material object, the Vajra jewel. It is also said in the tantra: "Vajra is indivisible, thus it is said." Like that. The expressing letters also clearly show those paths and make them understood, so they are called places, because the expressed things become the basis or support for gradual realization. Combining with scripture is: These seven Vajra places, also in accordance with their own nature or essence, in a continuous manner, just as the order shown here, in the Sutra called "The Great Compassion Teaching of the Tathagata," requested by the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, it is known from the introduction that the first Vajra place is to teach the Three Jewels.
