The ability to pacify faults, etc., is also unique to the Teacher Buddha. Therefore, this is a quality that is unmixed with others and is unique. That is the meaning. Furthermore, the function and the way to obtain it are: the actions of the body are without error, the actions of speech are without noise, the actions of the mind do not forget the meaning of what has been realized, the mind is not distracted and remains in equanimity, and the nature of samsara and nirvana are held to be different, etc. Therefore, there are no various kinds of discriminations, and without examining the beings to be tamed, one remains in equanimity in one's own way. These upright Buddhas do not have such things. These are the six qualities summarized by conduct. The desire to strive for the benefit of others does not diminish, and likewise, the diligence to rejoice in the benefit of others does not diminish, the memory of seeing all things is completely pure and does not diminish, the wisdom without the stain of afflictions does not diminish, and the complete liberation from obscurations at all times does not diminish. The completely liberated wisdom that directly sees all things as they are and as many as they are without exception never diminishes. These are the six qualities summarized by realization. All the three activities of body, speech, and mind of any Buddha are guided by wisdom first and followed by wisdom later. These are the three qualities summarized by activity. For all knowable things included in the three times of past, future, and present, there is constant and unimpeded entry into vast wisdom. These are the three qualities summarized by knowledge. Therefore, relying on the realization and manifestation of these eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, for the extremely numerous beings to be tamed, there is no fear or timidity, and thus the excellent wheel of Dharma is widely turned. This is because he possesses great compassion that wishes to liberate all sentient beings from suffering and is the sole teacher who has conquered the four maras. This is also the Buddha.

They each cultivated the corresponding paths, both before and after, and were liberated from sudden defilements, thereby directly realizing the fruit. That is the content above. The application of analogy is: The qualities possessed by the four great elements, such as earth, the characteristic of earth is solidity, the characteristic of water is moisture, the characteristic of fire is warmth, the characteristic of wind is motion, and so on. These characteristics of conditioned phenomena are not the characteristics of unconditioned phenomena, such as space. The characteristics of space are unclouded, unobstructed, and the qualities of unconditioned phenomena, and so on. These are also not present in the form of the four great elements, therefore they do not mix with each other. Similarly, the qualities of other beings, such as birth and death, are not present in the Buddha. The perfect qualities of the Buddha are not manifested in other beings, therefore these unmixed qualities are like space, or even more superior than the analogy itself. Because the elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space are similar only in terms of being "elements," and so on, it is possible for them to be common in the world. However, the unmixed qualities of the Buddha, even a particle of dust, cannot be common in the world, therefore space cannot accurately depict it as it is. That is the content above. Elaborating on the qualities of the ripening result, there are two parts. First, explaining the differences in the characteristics of what is being explained: In the past, during the stage of learning the path, vows were firmly made, and ultimately, upon attaining the form body of the Buddha, the soles of the feet are well-established and as even as the belly of a tortoise; similarly, in the past, various possessions were given away, therefore the palms of the hands and soles of the feet have the marks of a thousand-spoked wheel; in the past, others were not harmed, therefore the heels are broad, the ankles are not visible, and are blessed to be rounded; in the past, sentient beings were protected by the Dharma, therefore the fingers and toes are long; in the past, others were not alienated, therefore the fingers and toes are connected by a golden net; in the past, various fine garments were given, therefore the skin is extremely smooth and the body is youthful.
