I do not have frivolous talk, such as jokes, which arise from afflictions. There is one unique activity of speech, and because of having previously cultivated the six recollections, the Teacher Buddha does not have the loss of mindfulness of forgetting past events. Having previously cultivated guarding the minds of others, etc., therefore abiding single-pointedly in samadhi, there is no mind that does not equally place subsequent distraction, etc. Having previously cultivated abandoning inverted minds and perceptions, etc., therefore there are no diverse perceptions that grasp samsara and nirvana as having different natures. Having previously cultivated equality of self and others, and equality of existence and peace, etc., therefore there is no abandonment of equanimity that abandons even when disciples are ready, through the door of non-discrimination. These are the four unique activities of mind. The six included by realization are: Declaring that the Tathagata's power, together with its place and result, does not have any loss of what has not been attained, that is, having previously cultivated seeking profound and vast Dharma, etc., therefore there is no cessation of the lineage of the Three Jewels, and there is no loss of the intention to benefit sentient beings. Having previously cultivated relying on the guru and maturing sentient beings, etc., therefore there is no loss of enthusiastic diligence for the sake of others. Having previously cultivated mindfulness, etc., therefore there is no loss of mindfulness that sees all phenomena as they are. Having previously not been satisfied with seeking the Dharma, therefore generating the three wisdoms, there is no loss of the wisdom that discriminates phenomena. Having previously abandoned busyness and cultivated yoga and liberation, etc., in solitary places, therefore there is no loss of liberation from obscurations. Having previously taught the Dharma for the sake of others' realization, and knowing the nature of dependent arising, etc., therefore there is no loss of the wisdom that has power over all phenomena, the wisdom that is liberated from obscurations, seeing all knowable objects. Here, samadhi is not mentioned.

English

It is always included in impermanence, and in some places, even without mentioning mindfulness, it is included in non-forgetfulness. In some places, if everything exists, then it is either uniting intention and diligence, or it is uniting liberation and the wisdom of liberation. The three that are encompassed by actions are: uncommon activities, that is, previously abandoning deceit and pretense, etc., and being accustomed to pure conduct, from this, the actions of the body, all such as miracles, are preceded by and follow after wisdom. Previously abandoning lying, etc., and being accustomed to speaking beneficial, appropriate, and Dharma-related words, from this, the actions of body and speech, all such as teaching the Dharma, are preceded by and follow after wisdom. Previously abandoning all such as covetousness, and being accustomed to correct views, etc., from this, the actions of mind, all such as meditating on samadhi, are preceded by and follow after wisdom. Therefore, all three actions of body, speech, and mind are preceded by and follow after wisdom. So it is said. The three that are encompassed by knowledge are: the uncommon abiding in wisdom, that is, previously, for the Buddhas of the past, future, and present, having attained wisdom without attachment or obstruction, without doubting, believing that one can attain it oneself, and being accustomed to oneself and others entering into it in the same way, from this, in sequence, for the past time, the unobstructed wisdom of ཡེ༷་ཤེ༷ས་ (ye shes, jñāna, jnana, wisdom) arises in sight, for the future དུ༷ས་ལ༷་ (dus la, kāla, kala, time) the unobstructed wisdom arises in sight, for the present time, the unobstructed wisdom arises in sight, therefore, the wisdom that enters into the three times has no obscurations of attachment or obstruction. So it is said. The summary is: དེ༷་ལྟ༷ར་ན་ (de tar na, evam, evam, thus), thus, the six encompassed by conduct, the six encompassed by realization, the three encompassed by actions, the three encompassed by knowledge, these eighteen, and others, such as the immeasurable body and the invisible crown that subdues all and is especially superior, like medicinal herbs, as soon as they are seen, sentient beings
