The Buddha, who manifests the appearance of the Form Body, is able to abide and continuously benefit beings as long as samsara exists; with pure wisdom, liberated from grasping at the duality of existence, samsara, and peace, nirvana, realizing non-duality, in order to be free from weariness for the sake of others; because he is always endowed with inconceivable and infinite stainless samadhi, complete with perfect bliss, he is not harmed by the suffering of asceticism; in order to benefit others, he abides in the world; because he acts in accordance with their respective capacities, he is not obscured by worldly afflictions, karma, and suffering, etc. Therefore, the nature of the Form, with the two bodies benefiting sentient beings, is constant and uninterrupted. This is what was said above. The reason why the Dharmakaya is permanent is: the Dharmakaya manifested by the Tathagatas, from the perspective of ultimate antidote, is immutable and permanent. Because there is no death or transmigration of karma and afflictions, all arising and ceasing are pacified, abiding in the supreme state of nirvana, having attained a state that the lord of death can never invade. Similarly, it is also permanent by nature, because the Dharmakaya of the Buddha, whose nature is not created by causes and conditions, is from the beginning the nature of complete pacification of all conditioned phenomena. Because it is unfailing, it is also permanent, because it is constantly and continuously the ultimate refuge, protector, helper, and friend, etc., for limitless beings who are without refuge. This is what was said above. To summarize the general meaning of these: with the first seven reasons, beginning with "limitless causes," it is explained that the benefit of others by the Form Body is constant and uninterrupted; with the latter three reasons, beginning with "destroying the lord of death," it is shown that the Dharmakaya of the Buddha is immutable and permanent.

It is finished. The meaning of inconceivable as it is has two aspects: briefly stating the way of being inconceivable and explaining the reasons in detail. Among these, the brief statement is: Since all places are completely transformed, thereby thoroughly separated, the stainless suchness, the great enlightenment, transcends the expression of words, because it is not the domain of speech; because it is contained by the two purities of the ultimate truth, which is to be known by each individual himself; because it is not a place or object to be examined by discrimination; because it has completely transcended all measuring metaphors and signs, etc.; because it is transcendent of the world, reaching the ultimate end, unsurpassed; because it is not encompassed by the two extremes of cyclic existence and peaceful nirvana. Therefore, it is only the domain of the omniscient wisdom of the Victorious, perfectly enlightened Buddhas. Even those who abide on the great earth, the noble ones, cannot conceive of it as it is, so what need is there to say that ordinary people cannot conceive of it? This is (the brief statement). The detailed explanation is divided into three parts, the first of which is to explain the reasons in order: The enlightenment that perfectly completes the three bodies cannot be conceived of as such by others than the Buddhas, because it is not the object of speech and cannot be expressed by words. Similarly, it is not expressible by words, because it is the ultimate truth to be known by each individual himself. This itself is the ultimate truth, because it is not an object or place to be examined by discrimination. This itself is not to be examined by discrimination, because it is not to be inferred by worldly metaphors and reasoning, etc. This itself is not to be inferred, because it is transcendent of the world and unsurpassed. This itself is unsurpassed, because it is not encompassed by cyclic existence and peaceful nirvana. Moreover, it is not encompassed by existence and peace, because it does not abide in their two extremes. It also does not abide because there are qualities on the side of peace and faults in the nature of existence.

Because there is no conceptualization. Combining and summarizing the two bodies, with the five reasons such as "not being within the realm of speech," because it is extremely subtle, profound, and difficult to fathom, it shows the reason why ordinary Dharmakayas cannot conceive of "this is it." With the sixth reason of "not including samsara and nirvana," although the arising and ceasing of samsara and nirvana appear, because their entities are not true, it shows the reason why the infinite manifestations of the Rupakaya cannot be conceived. Thus it is said. The way in which qualities are inconceivable is: Because one directly realizes all knowable and known meanings, with the supreme wisdom and the desire to liberate all sentient beings from the suffering of samsara, with boundless loving-kindness and activities, etc., and immeasurable qualities, one has reached the other shore of perfect qualities. This great Bodhi attained by the Buddhas cannot be truly conceived even by beings other than the Buddhas. Therefore, the Buddhas who arise from their own practice without relying on others are also the last of the eight categories of inconceivable ways. Or, in relation to the initial generation of Bodhicitta, etc., the way of manifesting perfect enlightenment, those noble Bodhisattvas who abide on pure grounds, and those who have attained the ten powers, cannot directly know it, let alone ordinary people. Those who wish to know should attain Buddhahood. Thus it is said. From the Mahayana Uttaratantra Shastra, concerning the meaning of Bodhi. The explanation of the second chapter is completed. Chapter Three: The Meaning of Qualities Now, in terms of the excellent qualities that abide in the Great Bodhi, which are encompassed by detachment and the ripening fruit, there are two aspects to the meaning of the qualities of the limb of realization: the numerical difference in relation to the two bodies, and the determination of the distinguished qualities. There are two distinctions: body and qualities.
