In this kalpa, one will attain enlightenment under the name of so-and-so, accompanied by such-and-such retinue, and the sacred Dharma will also remain in the world for such-and-such a long time. Thus, among the three emancipating Bodhis, the prediction is made for the supreme and unsurpassed King of Dharma. That is to say, it is also considered in that way from the perspective of the field and the name, the time and the name of the kalpa, the retinue and the sacred Dharma, etc., in terms of the way they abide. As it is said, and so on. Summarizing the meaning, there are two ways. Summarizing into three by combining with the cause: Because it is subtle and difficult to understand, it is profound; because it is endowed with the power to accomplish the benefit of others; and because it is taught in accordance with the thoughts of individual beings, it is for the sake of leading them out of samsara. These three bodies should be combined according to their number, and it should be known that the profound one is the Svabhavikakaya (自性身), the vast one is the Sambhogakaya (报身), and the great sovereign is the Nirmanakaya (化身). So it is said. Summarizing into two by combining with the situation: In the context of explaining the body of the Buddha, the first profound body should be known as the Dharmakaya (法身), because it is the nature of all dharmas and is not the object of other consciousness. Afterwards, the Sambhogakaya (报身) and Nirmanakaya (化身) are the Rupakaya (色身), because they appear to those to be tamed in accordance with their karma. Those are also like, for example, just as various forms of conditioned phenomena abide in the unconditioned space, so in the first unchanging Dharmadhatu (法界), the various forms of the final Rupakaya (色身) abide. So it is said. As for the meaning of their permanence, there are two: briefly showing the reason for permanence and explaining that meaning in detail. Among them, the brief indication is: Because holding the sacred Dharma without attachment to anything, etc., is the result of countless causes, the activity of the Rupakaya (色身) for the benefit of others is constantly unceasing. In the same way, combining it, because of vowing to tame all sentient beings and because the sentient beings to be tamed are inexhaustible, the benefit of others

Due to the motivation of great compassion that constantly benefits all sentient beings, and due to having attained mastery over the means of accomplishing the welfare of others, the miraculous feet, and due to knowing that the nature of samsara and nirvana are non-dual, therefore never being born, and due to possessing the complete bliss of uncontaminated samadhi, therefore being unharmed by suffering, and due to being the master of all dharmas, never being tainted by its faults even when entering the world, the form body constantly and continuously performs the welfare of others. And due to having attained the state of immortality, therefore subduing the Lord of Death's demons, and due to being unconditioned from the beginning, therefore not having the nature of conditioned phenomena, and due to ultimately becoming the refuge and protector of all worlds, the Dharma body is immutable and constant. In short, due to ten reasons, the three bodies of the Tathagata are indeed constant. Thus it is said. The extensive explanation has three parts: the reasons why the form body is constant, the reasons why the Dharma body is constant, and the summary of the general meaning of these. Among these, the reason why the form body is constant is: in the past, during the stage of the path of learning, the body, head, and so on, as well as the stream of life, and possessions, jewels, and so on, were given away completely without attachment to anything, and because they were accomplished through limitless causes such as upholding the sacred Dharma, these form bodies are constant and continuous. Similarly, it can be applied by analogy: in order to accomplish the great task of benefiting all sentient beings, first, all sentient beings must be liberated from samsara. Thus, one fulfills the meaning of one's own vows. And because those to be tamed are inexhaustible, and because the perfectly enlightened Buddha himself is purified of the obscurations of afflictions, and because the great compassion, which is completely purified of the obscurations of knowledge, constantly leads all sentient beings into the path. And because one has mastery over miracles such as transforming one into many, and the samadhis of their feet, therefore, according to the capacity and suitability of
