Because it is of the nature of the unconditioned. They demonstrate the perfection of their own benefit, and because it is the very place of all white dharmas, they also accomplish the perfection of others' benefit. Thus it is said. The special explanation of the perfection of self-benefit is: Because all the sudden afflictions and their habitual tendencies are completely ceased and abandoned from the root, the body of liberation is endowed with the aspect of being without outflows; similarly, the knowledge of suchness is without attachment to objects because perversion is exhausted; the knowledge of the extent is unobstructed to objects because all aspects are manifest, therefore, the Dharmakaya is desired to be endowed with the aspect of pervading all knowable objects by the realization of wisdom, and both are constant, having the nature of being indestructible or immutable, therefore, it has the aspect of being unconditioned by the manifestation of causes and conditions. Among these, indestructibility itself is a brief indication of the reason for being unconditioned, and with the words "firm" and "etc.", with peace, permanence, and immutability, it is the very extensive explanation of indestructibility. Also, it is explained by defining the opposite side, so for conditioned things, it should be known that there are four aspects of destruction: the opposite of firmness is impermanence, with the word "etc.", the opposite of peace is non-peace, the opposite of permanence is impermanence, and the opposite of immutability is mutability. What are the four? The aging of actions that are fully ripened and decayed, the sickness of the transformation of the elements into suffering, the birth of the previous existence being interrupted and the next being accomplished, and the death that is inconceivable and transforms in various ways, these are the four. Since there are none of these four destructions in liberation and the Dharmakaya, in order, because there is no aging, it is firm, because there is no sickness, it is peaceful, because there is no birth, it is permanent, and because there is no death, it is known to be immutable. Thus it is said. The special explanation of the perfection of others' benefit is: Thus, the stainless abandonment

Those realizations in which wisdom is manifest are the support or basis for the arising of excellent white virtuous qualities in the minds of those who are in accordance with the capacity of beings to be trained, and therefore they are also the place for the perfect accomplishment of the benefit of others. For example, space, which is not the cause of arising and has no characteristics such as form, is the means by which the eye sees form, the ear hears sound, the nose smells odor, the tongue tastes flavor, the body feels touch, and the mind knows phenomena, just as it is established as the cause by opening the door to these. Similarly, for those who have become stable through practicing the yoga path that makes the seeing of the two bodies of the Buddha without obstruction, and who possess the capacity of the sons of the Sugata, because in the conventional sense the six faculties become the supreme object of experience, by virtue of seeing the form body and so forth, they become the cause of the arising of stainless marks and signs and other qualities; in the ultimate sense, by virtue of seeing the Dharma body and so forth, they become the cause of the manifest arising of limitless stainless qualities such as powers and fearlessnesses. So it is said. The meaning of its basis possessing qualities has two aspects: a brief statement of the names, and an extensive explanation of the reasons. The brief statement is as follows: inconceivable hearing and so forth, permanent because unborn, stable because unaging, peaceful because undiseased, eternal because undying, utterly peaceful because without suffering, pervasive of knowable things because knowing the extent, free from conceptualization because knowing the nature, without attachment like space because abandoning the obscuration of afflictions, without obstruction at all times and places because abandoning the obscuration of knowable things, having abandoned coarse touch because abandoning the obscuration of meditative absorption, invisible because separate from form, ungraspable because separate from characteristics, virtuous because naturally pure, and stainless because pure from adventitious stains, truly

That which possesses the fifteen excellent qualities is the Buddha who has attained great enlightenment. This is its meaning. The extensive explanation has two parts: how those qualities are possessed, and the need to ascertain the qualities possessed. Regarding how they are possessed: To show that the nature of abandonment and realization, the body of liberation and the Dharmakaya, both accomplish the complete benefit of oneself and others, one is liberated from all bonds to be abandoned, accomplishing one's own benefit; and through the activities based on the qualities of the Dharmakaya of realization, the benefit of others is accomplished. Thus, in order to become the basis for accomplishing both one's own benefit and the benefit of others, one should know that those two bodies possess fifteen qualities of Dharma, such as being inconceivable. This is its meaning. Ascertaining the qualities possessed has two parts: an extensive explanation of the profound reasons, and an explanation of the remaining reasons. The profound has three parts, of which the general explanation of the inconceivable nature is: The Dharmakaya is complete, being the domain of only the wisdom of omniscient knowledge, and the ultimate Buddha is not the domain of the three wisdoms arising from hearing, etc. Therefore, one should realize that the ultimate wisdom body possesses inconceivable qualities that embodied beings other than the Buddha cannot know as they are. This is its meaning. The extensive explanation of the distinctions is: If one asks, how is it that the three wisdoms are not the domain? The answer is: Because the ultimate Buddha is extremely subtle and difficult to realize, it is not the domain of the wisdom arising from hearing; similarly, because the ultimate truth is to be realized by the wisdom of individual self-awareness, it is not the domain of the wisdom arising from thought; because the Dharma itself, suchness, is profound and difficult to fathom, being ultimate, it is not the domain of all consciousnesses such as the wisdom arising from worldly meditation. This is its meaning. Combining the reason with an example is: Thus
