Previously, when I was in front of a great Brahmin, when King Good Conduct Joy (name of king) invited me as a guru offering, all the women, especially the king's concubine, were particularly infatuated with my appearance. After some time, the king and ministers went to visit Mahabodhi (Sanskrit: Mahabodhi). When I summoned all the Pandit retinue near that village, five huge palace buildings, three-story corridors, locked with many iron gates, and I was locked on the top floor, one of the king's concubines next to the palace opened all the iron gates in order and came to me and gestured. At that time, I said: "For meditating on diamond-like samadhi, whoever creates obstacles to it, the sutras say that they will attain the near immediate hell. Who is coming this morning, this great demon?" And, the woman said: "I am the concubine of the landowner king. All ordinary people, including the king, are fascinated when they see your appearance. Please, noble one, fulfill my desires." I said: "The merits of desire have much suffering and harm. Full of fear, always creating enemies, much affliction. Like the sharp edge of a sword, like the leaves of a poisonous tree. Like a dirty vessel, the noble one should abandon it." The woman said: "I cannot bear the disease of desire. Day and night I cannot sleep, I only think of you. It is very difficult, but I have come here now, and if I do not fulfill my desire, I will kill myself." Afterward, I came out of a clear hole and entered the flute next to the altar, and said these words: Illusionary demoness, lustful one! Enter this white copper flute! Enjoy desire in this secluded place, I will not bear any responsibility in the future. The woman said: Alas, I am an unfortunate person! This narrow flute has no place for me to enter. Please come here, beautiful noble one, grant desire in this spacious place! After that, I came out of the mouth of the flute and sat in the sky, and said these words: Come, lustful woman! If you want a spacious place, this sky is the most supreme of all spaciousness. I will give you the nectar of mindfulness. Having said that, the panditas followed me and ascended into the sky. After that, the woman also returned to her room, cut her hair, took off her rings, and sat there. The king came with his entourage, and when she spoke perverted words, the king's treasurer said: Great king, virtuous one! This consort, the messenger of the devil, even after entering the meditation room, the noble one has departed to the place of liberation. After explaining in detail, he banished the woman. Messengers were sent to invite the noble one, but the noble one did not agree to come. A letter was sent. The woman gave birth to a son, and the mother told the son the previous lies. The son took a sword and said: Even if I strike me, I cannot find an opportunity to kill. After that, when Nāga Kubera brandished his club, I said: Great protector Kubera! This is the karmic consequence of killing the worm. Do not hinder me from attaining enlightenment, please show your white smile. Having said that, Kubera let out a wail. After that, he destroyed his body with reeds. Kind one, your king was formerly virtuous. That noble one is now the beggar me. Maracita is that worm. What I am saying now, as before, is that the interdependent origination is not in harmony! Having said that, everyone believed. After that, the minister Karma Kriti offered a conch amulet and splendid clothes, and said: Lord of Dharma, who has perfected abandonment and realization!
