That wise man, in order to thank the land deity of the pillars of Gyarak for curing his illness, mixed female turquoise ornaments with a very rare corpse, and spread all the turquoise on the roof, hence he was called Turquoise Top. By practicing sixty sages, six sages actually appeared and blessed the lineage. He had three sons, Jepo, Trakse, and Kyungpo. Jepo's sons were the two brothers Bum Seng. Kyungpo's son was Yonten Gonpo. This master relied on the sage Tsara Ka and others, and studied medicine and so on. The detailed biography has already been narrated in the Heart Essence section above. He also wrote three volumes of oral instruction paper rolls, as well as the Son Meaning Root Summary, etc. Regarding the scriptures, he wrote two commentaries, the Copper Commentary and the Gold Commentary. There were countless disciples, and the most important was Sumton Chenpo, from whom the precepts of the Four Medical Tantras were widely developed. In addition, many scholars who were proficient in medicine emerged, and their lineages were also numerous, but it is impossible to enumerate them all. Later, among those who were proficient in medicine and famous, there were two schools, the Northern and Southern. The Northern school's Miwang Namgyal Drakzang was formerly a descendant of the Mi Nyak Peu king who was appointed by the Chinese emperor, and was born as the son of Sakya's Lachen Gui Gung Chok Drakpal Zangpo. He was proficient in the five sciences and surpassed all, hence he was known as King Pandit. When he wore royal attire such as precious jewels and uttered eloquent words, it is said that even the Geshe Rabjampa and others who were proficient in philosophy could not argue with him. He was especially proficient in medicine and also wrote treatises (Lower Part, 809). Among his many wise disciples, Mi Nyi Ma of the Northern lineage also wrote medical treatises, and many proficient disciples emerged, and their lineage is known as the Northern School. The Southern School is: Later, when medicine became an image, near Dapo Lapa, near Tsari, in the lower part of the region, there was a place called Lhatok, and the homestead was called Zungkhar, that is, Lhatok Zurkhapa Dharma Lomi or Equanimity Vajra, he generally mastered many teachings, but mainly propagated activities through the Nyingma school, especially medicine. Although all the oral instructions of medicine arose from his heart, he still relied on many wise men, and even listened to medicine from Rinchen Mi Nyi Ma of the Northern School. Especially

Then Yuthokpa blessed him as a child, and in order to eliminate the obstacles of physical discomfort, he created countless mustard-sized relics and Guru practice obstacle removal, etc., thereby fundamentally reviving the medical teachings. Later, many skilled doctors appeared, which was entirely due to his kindness. He had many disciples, who spread widely in Dakong, Tokye, and other places. In particular, his grand-nephew Zurkharwa Lodrö Gyalpo revised the Four Medical Tantras and had them printed. The grandfather wrote a commentary, Oral Transmission, but only completed the root commentary and the root outline of the subsequent tantra before passing away. The lineage of these two grandfathers and grandsons is known as the Zur tradition, and they considered these two places to be the most important. Later, Desi Sangye Gyatso relied on Jangpa Lhundingpa and others and became proficient in medicine (lower volume, 810). He also painstakingly searched for the practice methods that had been passed down from the past. He thoroughly investigated the source and basis of each medicine and created clear illustrated examples. Similarly, he also newly created about sixty paintings that could be understood by observing the root-vein tree diagrams, bird-body diagrams, and regional measurement diagrams, as well as the medicine container Mirror of Beryl, the extensive commentary Blue Beryl, and the practice auxiliary Mother and Child chapters, etc., and engraved the Four Medical Tantras self-commentary and auxiliary chapters. In addition, he also engraved many medical documents, and in particular, in order to prevent the teachings from declining, he built the Iron Mountain Beryl (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari pending, Sanskrit Romanization pending, Chinese literal meaning: Beryl) Wonder Second Medical College, and its lineage has not declined to this day. In this way, he laid the foundation of medicine, and his kindness was unparalleled to all doctors. Later, even those who did not seriously study the black ledger also developed this knowledge through medical research. During this period of studying medicine, the All-Knowing Sun of the Teachings (referring to Kunkhyen Tenpai Nyima) became proficient in various Tibetan explanations, and in particular, many medicines that had never been widely known in Tibet before, as mentioned in the eighth root commentary, etc., and medicines that had not been correctly recognized before, were consulted with Indian scholars, and he learned the identification, preparation, and practice of medicines. Similarly, he also innovated many Chinese medical diagnostic methods and medical research. In addition, he also
