May the excellent writing of the great Dharma school of Ngari Thupten Takmo Gang Kalsang Phuntshok Ling, visibly seen through merit, be well done by the novice monk Kunsang Chodar. May this also cause the precious teachings of the Victorious One in general, and the teachings of the definitive Great Perfection in particular, to flourish and spread in all directions, times, and places, and to remain for a long time. Sāsti lyāṇaṃ bhava tu. Emaho! The glorious Buddha with two wisdoms, The sacred Dharma of path, scripture, and realization, The supreme field of accumulating merit, the Sangha community, May the Three Protectors grant auspiciousness with the power of truth! In the past, in the complete age, the three-fold age, And in the two-fold age, all people, Naturally had the three doors of body, speech, and mind peaceful and subdued, Although the force of non-virtuous actions was small, But if people of the present time are compared to that time, Their actions are pure, but the Dharma is also, Like an example that appears, but cannot withstand the sunlight (lower part, 876), Even if there is a term for philosophical debate, It is like covering the sun with the palm of the hand. Before that time, Even though some Dharma events like this appeared, They did not fall into worldly talk, but were as one wished. This is the victory banner of all schools! But in general, whether it is listening, thinking, meditating, or teaching, debating, writing, If one falls into the door of clinging to sounds, Then arrogance and attachment will arise in the mind, And if the power of wisdom and compassion increases after that, Then it will be the same for benefiting all beings and the teachings. This is my own secret experience, which cannot be hidden. The joy of encountering this Dharma, Not only that, but also rejoicing and praising it. You, from the past, with general virtue, And especially with the power of purifying the obscurations of speech, At that time, you had the power to teach, debate, and write at will. With the power of purifying individual obscurations, At this time, you have the power to teach, debate, and write. Especially endowed with the power of intelligence, You are the common wealth of all schools, With the realization of the glorious Immortal Protector, May the teachings of the Protector Shakya remain as long as they last, May your feet be firm and may you accomplish all benefits for beings! The six ornaments and two supreme ones of the past, And the Longchen Rabjam of Tibet, the Ngari ones, Whoever's incarnation Klongchen etc. may have entered, May this uncontested Dharma event be composed. Like the radiant sun, may the feet of the holders of the doctrine, wherever they may reside, remain eternally firm like the ocean! Through this virtue, may the non-sectarian teachings, like the summer ocean, flourish and spread in all directions and times without decline. May it never wane or disappear, but increase ever upward like the splendor of the autumn moon. May all mothers temporarily be free from all suffering, and may they welcome the perfect, auspicious age. Ultimately, may they effortlessly enter the great primordial city of Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), achieving the great transference. May the great banner of undiminishing teaching and practice fly high, may all the divisions of Sutra and Tantra be well maintained, and may harmonious vows and pure discipline bring benefit and happiness, may qualities effortlessly become a treasury of the sky. May the Lama grant blessings, may the Yidam bestow accomplishments, may the Dakinis effortlessly accomplish activities, and may the Dharma protectors (Smad cha.879) guard without obstruction. May the glorious Three Roots bring auspiciousness!
