He was made to practice the six practices. After he had accomplished them, he was asked what he desired. He replied that he wished to understand the Kalāpa. By merely uttering the words "si ṅgha va rṇa sa (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning)", he completely grasped the entire meaning of the sounds. It is said that the origin of the Kalāpa differs somewhat from the history previously known in Tibet. Kalāpa means the plumage of a peacock, and the collection of parts is clearly used. The sutra is explained in four sections. There are some inconsistencies such as these, and it is believed that the Kalāpa was composed by Sarvavarman himself, and the meaning of the collection of parts is also the meaning of collecting the parts that are needed in the near future. Similarly, it is incorrect to explain the teacher's name as Ishvara Armor, and Sarvavarman is also a misspelling. It should be read as Pastavarman, which means Seventh Armor, etc., which are somewhat inconsistent with what was previously known (lower part, p. 819). According to the history previously known in Tibet, up to the fourth summary of the Kalāpa was spoken by the six-faced youth, and the meaning of Kalāpa is the collection of parts, which is explained as the collection of various colored feathers on the peacock's tail. Here, for the time being, the history will be told according to what was previously known. That is, King Good Joy, the benefactor of the teacher Nāgārjuna, had a queen who came from a royal family and knew Sanskrit. Once, when he went to the garden with her for pleasure, the king sprinkled a drop of water on the queen. The queen said, "mā mo da ki piñca ti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,do not sprinkle water on me)." The king heard it as asking for a spoonful of sesame seeds, so he gave it to her. The queen asked what it was. The king said that it was the spoon you asked for. The king thought to himself that he did not understand even a little Sanskrit, like an ox, and vowed that he would not live with her, and made a vow. His uncle, Ishvara Armor, said that it would be difficult for the king to find a skilled teacher, and even if he did, it would take a long time and would interfere with the king's affairs. Therefore, I will practice the deity I desire, learn it well, and then teach it to the king in a short time. So he practiced the youth Kārtika, and after seven days, a six-faced youth appeared, riding a peacock and holding a short spear in his hand, and asked him what he wanted to understand. He replied that he wanted to understand phonetics.

From "ིངྔྷི་ཝ་རྞ་ས་མཱ་ནཱ་ཡ༔," five connecting verses were spoken, six verses of names (lower volume, page 820), and four verses of general explanation. Let it be enough with that. Through the blessings of the gods and the awakening of one's own habitual tendencies, it was truly understood. When the peacock's mount moved upwards and saw the colorful feathers, he asked, "What is the name of this treatise?" He asked for forgiveness from Devaśāstra (Treatise on Gods), and wrote it down. It is said that the last four verses of the general explanation and the six verses of Kṛta were composed by Śaravarman himself. When the king learned it, he eventually became proficient. He sent the following verses: "In my right hand is a lotus, and in my left I hold an উৎপལ། (Sanskrit: उत्पल, Romanization: utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus), the stem is soft and beautiful. Speak what you desire, beautiful woman." The king was incomparably happy and satisfied. Durga Simha wrote a commentary on that treatise called Durga Simha. He also wrote commentaries on Una and others. This is explained in twenty-five chapters. He also wrote commentaries on Aṇa and others. This is explained in twenty-five chapters. The teaching method is to show only examples and direct instructions, so it is called the king's method. The Brahmin Grāgya wrote a commentary beneficial to students for the sake of Buddhist students. Because all the examples involve root analysis, it is difficult to learn at first, but once the names are known, one can fully understand Kalāpa, so it is known as the Paṇḍita's teaching method. Furthermore, the teacher Candra-gomi, who was born in a place called Paṇḍita in eastern India, knew all the common sciences such as grammar and logic without having studied them, and at the age of seven was able to defeat the heretics. Therefore, he received the transmission from the teacher Aśoka and accomplished the mantras of Avalokiteśvara and Tara, becoming a great scholar. Urged by the holy Avalokiteśvara, he observed the vows of a householder of Gomi. When he was invited to Nālandā by Candrakīrti, he saw the image of Mañjuśrī, the actual light of Mañjuśrī, and praised it, and the head of the image tilted and listened to his praise, so it became known as the Tilting-Head Mañjuśrī. When he debated with that great scholar for seven years, the debate was nearing its end. At one point, Avalokiteśvara personally taught him.
