The phurba known as Sera Phurjal is also a terma of the great accomplished Dharphya. In addition, all the incarnations of Gyalwa Phagpa Lha, the great holder of the Gelug teachings, and the upper and lower lineages of Gyalwa Phagpa Lha, the great holder of the Lingok teachings, practiced the Nyingma teachings. Gyalwa Gyatso received the Nyingma teachings from Minling Khenchen, and his reincarnation opened the door to the sacred site of Padma Kod.
