As it is said, "The ink of the letters written on paper matches the paper." There are so many improper behaviors, which are entirely the fault of individuals. As it is said, "Holding scriptures without a lamp, they fight for fame, gain, and retinues. Their eyes, stepping towards the abyss of sin, are certainly blinded by foolishness." As it is said, those who are attached to the enjoyments of householders, and who wound the precious teachings with anger and strife, even the great upholders of the teachings only pay slight attention to them. However, without thoroughly ascertaining the teachings and history of oneself and others, relying on superficial learning and one-sided study of doctrines, grasping the Buddha's teachings partially like grasping the root of a lame yak, refuting many teachings and defiled words with seemingly logical but untrue reasoning, and causing inferior ordinary people to engage in the work of destroying the teachings, wouldn't it be a greater act of propagating the teachings to strive to correct those who are focused on strife and anger with the nectar of the teachings, as a means of doing good? Jetsun Kunga Drolchok said, "To completely cover the father, just as it is impossible to kill the mother, how can one destroy the teachings of others in order to expand one's own teachings?" Moreover, Sakya Pandita also said, "Even if one cannot benefit the teachings, one should never harm them in any way." Therefore, in general, as the treasure prophecy of Ratna Lingpa says, "People have harmful spirits in their mouths, wandering in the sky, entering the throat, and stirring up the world with their tongues. This is also a sign of the decline of the Tibetan teachings." As it is said, in this age when the whole world is stirred up by tongues, even if there is someone who can speak according to standard reasoning, it only increases attachment and aversion, just as the venerable Nagarjuna said, "Feeding milk to a snake only increases its poison." Like this, even if one speaks, it is difficult to turn it into reality. However, in order to dispel wrong ideas, I have only mentioned it briefly, and the time for detailed explanation has not yet come, so I will put it aside for now. As mentioned in detail above, the great Nyingma school, starting from the Dharma King Songtsen Gampo, from the time of the Dharma King ancestors until the present.

Because it had no rise and fall, it was well protected by the great mantra holders, so it did not decline, and it became the basis and support for the newly emerging proponents of later schools. Because it was practiced diligently by many great beings, it is particularly excellent. This is from the chapter on the origin of the new mantras in the 'Ocean of Wonderful Words that Delight the Wise,' a well-spoken explanation that clarifies the origin of the profound and definitive teachings of the essence of the doctrine, the Great Secret Early Translation School (lower volume, p. 783), which is the seventh chapter. (lower volume, p. 784) Seventh General Meaning: About the origin of the new mantras.
