The pacification teachings, such as the three cycles of lamps spoken by Kashmiri Jñana Guhu, etc. There, both Dampa and the Kashmiri (lower volume, 747) taught Angpo Lotsawa, and the Kashmiri also taught Phusheng Lochung, who then taught Marton Chokyi Gyalpo, etc. The intermediate lineage is that Dampa, on his fourth visit to Tibet, taught Ma Chokyi Sherab, So Gedun Bar, and Karma Yeshe Gyaltsen. The later lineage is that on his fifth visit to Dingri, Dampa taught Dampa Chyarchen and Chyarchung, Vajrakrodha and Dampa Kunga, etc., and gradually it spread. Then, successively, Gyalwa Tene and the scholar Sho-o of Rog, Shyikpo Nyima Senge, etc., made it flourish, and until now the Dharma lineage is very prosperous. Rongton Sheja Kunzig also flourished as a holder of the pacification lineage. Rongton Sheja and Kunzig were both holders of the pacification lineage. Then, regarding the 'chief' aspect of the lineage: Dampa, on his third visit to Tibet, taught Yarlung Serpo and Kyeton Sonam Lama, and then the lineage was known as 'Father Chö'. Machig heard from both Dampa and Kyo-ton, and then the lineage was known as 'Mother Chö'. Machig was: In the village of Mermo in the A'i Lab region, she was born into a family of unknown caste. Her name was Labyi Dronma. From a young age, she became a nun under Geshe Drapa Mönshé. After reciting and reading, she read the Prajñāpāramitā and directly realized emptiness. She united with Jerongpa Topa A-re, and gave birth to five children, three sons and two daughters. She met Padampa and received instructions. From Kyo Sonam Lama she heard the empowerment of illusion, and realization of the meaning of the empowerment arose. She heard the instructions of Chö. Later she lived in a cave in Zangri Kharmar, and filled Tibet with the instructions of Chö. There are countless ways of transmission, such as the lineage of descendants transmitted from her son Gyalwa Dondrup, and the lineage of disciples from Khu Gom Chöseng, etc. From Tongnyön Samdrub, Khambu Yangle Jñana Dzala, from Namtso Do, Rangjung Shab heard it, and the Re Kagyü side became very prosperous. From Khuk Gom Chöseng, successively...

This lineage was transmitted from Sangye Nyangton, Repa Chonipa, and Yu Shar Tonpa to Kathok Sherab Lama, flourishing in the Kathok region. The names of the lineages are numerous and cannot be fully enumerated. When Dampa Rinpoche came from India to Tibet, the four black crows that followed him were considered to be four Dakinis, namely Ei Labdrön, Majo Jangchub of Nyaltö, Zhangmo Gyalting of Tsang, and the Madwoman of Lhasa, known as the four. In addition, there are some lineages not included among these. The Mahamudra has three transmissions: early, middle, and late. The early one was transmitted from Kongneba, this master being the great Indian Siddha Nirutava, who passed away in Nepal and then came to Tibet, known as the teacher of Mahamudra. The middle one was transmitted from Dro Gon Chakna Dorje, and the later one from Bawa Asu (lower volume, p. 749). Furthermore, there are the teachings on Great Compassion transmitted from Jowo Mitra Jogi and Bodhisattva Dawa Gyal, and the Vajra Garland transmitted from Panchen Abhyakaragupta, among many other doctrines. To this day, many of these undiminished teachings remain, and it is impossible to enumerate them all. These are the circumstances of the various Dharma lineages. The special temples such as Rasa (Lhasa) and Samye have received great kindness, and a few of these will be mentioned. In addition, the special temples such as Rasa and Bal Yes have also received great kindness, and a few of these will be mentioned. The first to offer service to Lhasa and Ramoche, etc., were Dola Chungkor Pön and Zangkar Lo (lower volume). Zangkar Pagpa Sherab was one of the two translators, Zangkar Pagpa Sherab was born in Zangkar in Ngari. He cleared the beehives from Lhasa and renovated about fifteen temples including Lhasa, Samye, and the border temples. This great translator and Dola Chungkor Pön saw that the Jokhang in Lhasa was unattended and had beehives, so they gave the beekeepers houses and wealth and drove them away. Those who did not leave were invited to a feast, then seized and expelled by the army. This was the earliest instance of providing service to the temples of Lhasa. It is said that Dola Chungkor Pön gradually offered his body as lamp oil (lower volume, p. 750). Furthermore, in the Great Tang Annals, it is recorded that sometimes even the beehives of the beekeepers were included.
