Therefore, those great and holy beings met the face of this one, and enjoyed the nectar of his words, thereby completely filling the good vase of their hearts. After completing the three-year, three-sided retreat there, he went to the great sacred site of Chuwo Yenkyl (ཆུ་བོ་གཡས་འཁྱིལ།), and stayed there, erecting the banner of practice as before. At that time, Choktrul Rinpoche from Gampo (སྒམ་པོ།) and Shabdrung Thutopba (ཞབས་དྲུང་མཐུ་སྟོབས་པ་) and others also came, listened to the Dharma (lower volume, page 383), and performed practices such as the nectar medicine practice. At that time, the Serlingkha (སེར་སྲིང་ཁ།) area of Kong (ཀོང་ཕྱོགས།) was very powerful, and the terrain of that place was also very dangerous, so he felt a little uncomfortable, and again went to Tangtrok Osel Tser (ཐང་འབྲོག་འོད་གསལ་རྩེ།), and practiced as before for about four years, and at the age of seventy-three, he showed the manner of merging into the realm of Dharma. After his passing, all the necessary practices were thoroughly completed by Jevon Norbu Sangwa (རྗེ་དབོན་ནོར་བུ་བཟང་བ་) and the elders of the monastery, and the golden stupa was also placed in its original location at Tangtrok Osel Tser (ཐང་འབྲོག་འོད་གསལ་རྩེ།). From childhood, this尊者 did not put meat and blood on his tongue, nor did he touch it with his hands. Wherever he stayed, he was inseparable from the three Dharma robes, and inseparable from the ten kinds of Dharma instruments, and made vows. Even for a very short time, he would not spend it idly. The signs of accomplishment also included seeing the face of the Yidam deity, leaving hand and footprints on the stone, and being able to reach distant places in many days with his hands, and so on. He also relied on about eighteen lamas before and after, learning the Dharma and various fields of knowledge, and so on, to demonstrate the way of reliance. In short, his actions of body, speech, and mind were free from the defilements of worldly affairs, the eight worldly concerns, and so on, not even a trace of dust. In particular, at the age of twenty-one, he gave up the burden of the monastery and renounced youth at the same time. At the age of thirty-three, he vowed not to go to villages. At the age of thirty-seven (lower volume, page 384), he did not accept offerings of substitutes for the Three Jewels, initiations, and Dharma rewards. At the age of thirty-nine, he did not accept loans of land, livestock, weapons, etc. At the age of forty, he renounced all matters related to funerals. At the age of fifty, he did not consume fermented substances such as alcohol, and did not even consume them in nearby areas. All of these were accomplished.

Hearing of erudition and fame, and the years of practicing a hundred kinds of Dharma, like a flame burning away the defilements of desire, these rare deeds of practicing according to the Dharma, seem to be shown through the gate of liberation. In general, the wise and accomplished great beings, especially this venerable one, are undoubtedly emanations of the venerable Ananda and the translator Vairotsana. They possess immeasurable qualities of hearing, thinking, and realization that others do not have, but they do not easily manifest them outwardly, because this is different from others. Even if they manifest them, ordinary people cannot understand them. Otherwise, even beginners and outsiders can manifest mere small signs of clairvoyance and accomplishment, so people do not find it particularly amazing. Such incomparable deeds, like the biographies of Jetsun Milarepa and the Indian Panditas, are wonders among wonders, so we alone think this way, and therefore we briefly mention it here. This venerable one's incarnation of Sprul-pa, named Kunzang Pema Lekdrup, is said to have studied at Orgyen Mindrolling Monastery, becoming a person with many qualities of a wise and accomplished one, but later during the Dzungar period, it is said that he went to the hidden land of Sikkim (lower volume, p. 385), but no detailed historical records were found. The incarnation of Sprul-pa, Jigme Tenpai Gyaltsen, was born as the son of the Kongpo Gyala Depa. However, because it was during the time when the steward of Thangdrok Monastery, Dhemo, Sro De Khangsar, was invited, Sprul-pa himself resided at Sang-ngag Jangchubling for study. Later, as Khrichen No-min-han had previously appointed Sprul-pa to manage the old site of the monastery and issued a decree, he maintained the tradition of teaching and practice as usual. Afterwards, he prostrated at the feet of the omniscient Jigme Lingpa, and the mind-transmission was fully matured by the oral instructions of the Great Perfection's profound essence. In addition, he extensively heard and contemplated the ocean-like teachings of the Nyingma Kama and Terma, becoming a Vajradhara who upholds the Nyingma teachings. I met him when I traveled to Kongpo, but later he was invited to Drigung, and passed away there.
