I received empowerments and transmissions, including the oral transmissions and instructions, as well as all the mind treasure cycles of that very master, such as the Vajrakila lineage, the liberation teachings of Terton Sherab Ozer, and the vast pure visions of the Great Fifth Dalai Lama. The omniscient one himself enthroned me as the master of the Dharma, bestowed upon me the name Rigdzin Jigme Tenpai De, and through a shared political and religious system, empowered me as the king of Dharma and praised me. From Lchakzam Tenzin Yeshe Lhundrup, I also received some teachings, including one cycle of liberation teachings. From the feet of Dorje Drak Thuksey Shapdrung, I also received many empowerments and transmissions, such as the vast profound Dharma. From Ngapö Geshe Pema Gyepa, I also received the gathering sun and moon red-black practices, and most of the Dharma cycles of Chöje Lingpa. (Lower part, 626) Then, I prostrated at the lotus feet of the Eighth Gyalwa Jampal Gyatso (1758-1804), and he ordained me as a fully ordained monk, making me a true bhikshu, and concealed me with the conduct of holding the banner of monastic robes. During those times, I offered torma offerings to the Jowo Shakyamuni statues in Töchen, and made extensive offerings to Lama Chöde and other monasteries. After gradually ascending the throne and completing the enthronement, I engaged in profound meditative practices in a three-year, three-month retreat. At that time, representatives from the lower monastery, including the representatives of the Dege Sakyong Chökyi Gyalpo and the officials of Taktshangba, arrived to invite me. This was also the time when the war between China and Gorkha ended. Then, in the Water Male Mouse year, I gradually emerged from retreat and traveled to Dege. After arriving at Thubten Norbuling, I stayed there temporarily and received all the pure vision Dharma cycles of the accomplished master, Pao Lerap Tsal, from the presence of the accomplished one himself, as well as many other profound and extensive instructions. At that time, Dzogchen Mochok Rinpoche Ngensön Tenzin Zangpo, feeling weary of the beings of the degenerate age, temporarily departed to a pure land. To fulfill his intentions, I offered torma offerings and provided support for the construction of his precious stupa, including a silver brick and precious turquoise, coral, and other items.
