After being invited, offerings and services were presented. Then, he traveled to Stagmo Gang Kalsang Phuntsok Ling. The monastery also welcomed him with a grand procession, placing his lotus feet on the Dharma throne of the Great Treasure Revealer Lama. At this time, to meet Dege, the great king of Lhundrub Teng also traveled there. The Sakya Protector Dharma King also bestowed Ghilen and Shanglen as decorations and extensively offered many material gifts. During this time, he stayed in Dege for about ninety-five years. He also went to Rudam Monastery, the great seat of Dzogchen, and met with Khenpo Namkha Odsal, Dzogchen Choktrul, Khampa Tulku Ngawang Kunga Tenzin, and others, receiving various empowerments and transmissions. In addition, he traveled to nomadic areas and villages, bestowing blessings of Dharma teachings, etc. (Lower Volume, p. 577), leading those connected to ultimate liberation. At Stag Gang, he also bestowed the complete empowerments and transmissions of all the New Treasures without omission. When this Rinpoche performed empowerments and other rituals, signs of the wisdom beings arriving, such as the body actually floating, trembling, dancing, speaking, and laughing, appeared during the moments of bestowing blessings. Furthermore, it is said that many other extraordinary signs occurred. Rinpoche's father, the Great Treasure Revealer Rigdzin Chenpo, had instructed that the body image should be made into a mantra instrument, but due to the request of the great ruler of Dege, he allowed the body image to be transformed into that of a monastic. That great ruler also received many empowerments and, being fully satisfied, revered him as the object of offering on his head, offering services and gifts extensively, not just once but repeatedly. Later, when Tibet became stable again, he traveled to the upper monastery. After arriving at the monastery, he did some work to benefit beings in Dragyul and other places, and then he focused solely on retreat. As for retreat places, he only made brief connections with Me'bar Phuk and Phuk Nag Dorje Nyingdzong. Mainly, he spent about five years in Ser Trashi Todrang in annual, monthly, and combined retreats, practicing almost all of the New Treasures. In addition, he also performed many recitations of the Old Treasures, and during the retreat periods, he built statues, etc.

How did I accomplish it? In general, that venerable Lama possesses compassion, has immeasurable wisdom, and his mind-stream is nourished by qualities of scripture and realization like an ocean. Driven by the innate great compassion, he cherishes all beings like an only child, and for sentient beings afflicted by poverty and other sufferings, he provides food, clothing, and other necessities in various ways. For those reborn as inferior animals, he helps by ransoming their lives. Furthermore, wherever he goes to benefit beings, he only encourages the practice of virtue and the abandonment of evil, making people vow to abstain from gambling, abstain from killing, and not to be thieves. Similarly, for the Sangha, he engages in practices and recitations; and for male and female devotees, he encourages them to engage in Nyen-ne (fasting retreat), fasting, making offerings, prostrating to the Buddhas, reciting Mani mantras, offering lamps, liberating lives, making Tsa-tsas, water offerings, offering silk scarves to Jowo statues, and other virtuous deeds, and he makes them take vows, thereby carrying out various white Dharma activities. The wealth offered by patrons and disciples is used for extensive offerings in various monasteries, and also for the tenth-day festivals of the Ngakpa villages and local people, as a source of support and offerings. Even for lepers, he makes them circumambulate and recite Mani mantras, and gives them donations. He is always diligent in practice and recitation, never being idle. Through this power, he directly sees the deities of the Three Roots and receives prophecies and empowerments, etc. There are many inconceivable events, but due to the length, I cannot write them all here, so please refer to the Lama's own scattered words. In particular, Guru Padmasambhava personally appeared and bestowed upon him the name "Guru Sonam Tenzin" (Lotus Master, Fortunate Holder of the Teachings), and since then his name has become known as such. He often sees Guru and consort inseparable, and pure visions arise everywhere. Therefore, there are Dharma teachings of pure vision, such as the "Essence of the Moon for Accomplishing Longevity" and the "Dharma cycles of Gu-drak," about two volumes. In addition, he respectfully bows to and accomplishes the activities of Vajra Dharma Protectors and the local deities who protect the white side. It is said that he personally received a priceless golden mask offered to Jowo Shakyamuni, which is truly amazing.
