He was taken care of by the teachings of... and gave many testaments, songs, etc. At the age of seventy-six, accompanied by many wonderful omens, the assembly of gods and dakinis welcomed him from the realm of rainbows and light in the sky. Seeing the arrangement of his body riding on a garuda, a lion, and an elephant king, he passed away to the pure land of Akshobhya. Regarding the history of how this Heart Essence Dharma came about, as mentioned above, when he was residing in Kyirong, Sumton Chenpo repeatedly requested, saying that in general, the happiness of samsara and nirvana depends on the lama, and in particular, this lama practice of our own tradition is definitely more superior than others, etc., and in order to prevent future people from falling into the trap of teachings, please offer the asceticism of the body and the inner and outer offerings, as well as a golden mandala. There, Sumton Chenpo felt as happy as if he had obtained land, and performed more prostrations than he was instructed to do. When he was fifteen (waning moon) and two months old, he sold all the land he had and exchanged it for horses. At that time, it happened that a gold mine collapsed, and the horses were turned into gold, yielding more than two hundred and a half ounces of gold. Except for two ounces of gold, he gave it to the attendant, made four ounces of gold himself, and offered half an ounce of gold to a person named Acara Mahajnana Carya from Beta in southern India, and had him perform the union of vidya-mantras. He offered the goddess of Shang Nyemo, Dewa Palden, who was seventeen years old, belonged to the lineage of precious women, and was adorned with all virtues, as a secret consort. In addition, he offered countless tsog offerings and prayed. On the tenth day of the Monkey month of the Wood Horse year, he bestowed the secret instructions. Then, gradually, he bestowed all the teachings completely as practical instructions, and based on that, extraordinary experiences arose. From then on, I also became a firm Vidyadhara. This is how it is recorded. Furthermore, Yuthokpa himself said that if there is no blessing of practice and accomplishment at the same time, his own words say that if there is no blessing of practice and accomplishment at the same time, beings in the degenerate age have strong desires and lack perseverance, so they cannot sustain practice for a long time, and I...

This life accomplishment, if practiced diligently for seven days by a qualified individual, will result in the best case of direct vision, the intermediate case of experience, and the lowest case of a clear manifestation of my face in a dream, along with a promise to provide teachings and instructions. Such teachings, with all its activities and practices, are similar to the general Nyingma tradition without any obstacles. (Volume 2, page 157) Distinguished by numerous oral instructions such as exorcism and ransom, it is now being taught as a kind of lineage, becoming like a wish-fulfilling jewel for the masses. Therefore, a brief history is written. Although it is believed that this teaching was bestowed through the long lineage of Dakini Palfrengma, in reality, it is a mind treasure of Yonten Gonpo himself. Nowadays, the empowerment lineage transmitted from Sumton remains unbroken. However, Zurkhar Lodro Gyalpo said, "The lineage transmitted from Sumton is broken, and it is said that Zurkhar Awo Chöje had a direct vision of Yonten Gonpo himself and received the teaching," but no definite evidence has been seen. The Dzogchen Karma Nyingthig, which Kunchen Rangjung Dorje received directly from Vimalamitra, and the history of the mind treasures of Kunchen Longchenpa, have already been mentioned in the previous section on Dzogchen Thig, so there is no need to write about them here. Briefly recount the history of the Vajrapani Ear-whispered Lineage, which Lodrak Drubchen Lekyi Dorje received directly from the Lord of Secrets. The lineage of this Drubchen is the lineage of Shubu Palgyi Senge. After four generations, they moved to Lodrak. Since then, twenty-five accomplished masters have appeared, all of whom are proficient in the Nyingma teachings, able to directly see the three deities of Ma, Shin, and Phur, Hayagriva, and Vajrapani, able to show signs of accomplishment, and employ Dharma protectors as servants. (Volume 2, page 158) Subduing wrong views, benefiting the teachings and beings, and accomplishing great deeds, as described in their biographies. Later, from the time of Khenchen Namkha Senge, it was transformed into the Kadampa school. Furthermore, it is shown that this Drubchen was born in the land of Rakshasas before this life. In the biography of Inner Samadhi, when explaining the previous life's birth in the land of Rakshasas, Guru Rinpoche, through compassion and aspiration, made the land as white as a crystal ground, filled with mountains, rocks, and forests of various jewels.
