When they went to his presence, he refuted everything that contradicted the scriptures, was open to rational analysis, did not conflict with logic and the teachings of the lamas, and possessed the courage of wisdom that completely eliminated all contradictory aspects such as phonetic errors and semantic errors. Everyone was amazed when they saw each of his treatises and tasted their meaning, and they made offerings to him and made paintings of him. It is said that they regarded him as their lama. It is said that Gorub Lotsawa, the monk Chokyi Sherab (upper volume, 506), who was known as a person with great learning and retention, also initially made criticisms. Later, when he saw the book "Entering the Path of the Great Vehicle" written by Lama Rongpa, he developed great respect. Finally, he made offerings with many material things and, without concealing anything, requested to be accepted as a disciple. He listened to many teachings, including the Manjushri Secret Tantra. During the time of the secret tantra, the great Mahapandita said, "If we had the Sanskrit original now, it should be translated like this. Because we don't have the Sanskrit original, we can't revise it now." Gorub Lotsawa kept this in mind. Later, he obtained the Sanskrit original from a pandita named Jowo Krishna (梵文天城体:कṛṣṇa,梵文罗马拟音:Kṛṣṇa,汉语字面意思:Black), and when he listened to it, it turned out exactly as Rongpa Pandita had said, so he developed great faith in him. He offered the Sanskrit original that he had obtained from Krishna to Rongpa himself and listened to it again. Similarly, translators such as Marpa Chokyi Wangchuk and many talented people who were known as scholars also prostrated at his feet. He relied on many Indian khenpos such as Manjushri Varma, Manjushri Jnana, Upaya Shri Mitra, Buddha Akara Bhadra, Deva Kara Chandra, Varmesvara, and Amogha Vajra, and acted as their translator, translating many scriptures such as Vajrabhairava, Yamantaka Tantra, Manjushri Mantra Meaning, and Chakrasamvara Root Tantra. Because the translation was very good, it was worthy of being an example of the new translation. All the Indian panditas said, "Dharma Bhadra, you have composed many works and benefited beings (upper volume, 507). Leaving aside your other qualities, even if you only know one-third of our system of grammar, you can compose Dharma in India. Why don't you compose?" It is said that he had such qualities.

Although endowed with perfect qualities, he diligently practiced humility and subdued arrogance. Just as Gyalwa Longchenpa stated that he was superior to the Indian commentaries, he also wrote below his own excellent commentary, the 'Treasury of Merit Commentary': 'If even the treatises composed by wise and great beings are criticized and slandered, how could my treatise not be blamed?' Just as in the tantras compiled by the great being Vajrapani, there are instances of being measured by wisdom transformed by darkness, what need is there to mention my commentary? In this way, he emulated the conduct of the teacher Shantideva, naturally demonstrating the behavior of a virtuous Bodhisattva. If we measure his biography of accomplishments, he walked on the surface of great, steep, mirror-like cliffs through miraculous feats, drove stakes into rocks, flew in the sky, and possessed the clairvoyance to understand the abodes and behaviors of most Tibetan gods and demons. Although he had many such powers, it is not surprising that for those with such supreme views who have attained the fourfold perfect knowledge, ordinary people would express their realization in writing to inspire faith. Thus, all the scholars who appeared at that time (Upper Volume, p. 508) praised and bowed to this undisputed great emanation Pandit, and it is said that he lived to be one hundred and nineteen years old and passed away without illness. Gö Lotsawa Chenpo also praised him, saying, 'No scholar equal to him has ever appeared in this land of Tibet,' and this is widely known. Later, there were two lineages of students: the lineage of sons and the lineage of disciples. The first is: the two sons, Ziji Bar and Bum Bar. All those who appeared in the lineage of sons for a long time attained accomplishments from Vajrakila. The lineage of disciples includes: Go Rub Lotsawa, Marpa Dosa, Gö Lo, and seventeen other great translators; Yak Dorje Dzinpa and thirty-five other great accomplished ones; Machig Zhama's brother, Je Chyap Buwa, and one hundred and eighty other great yogis; Yol Geshe Dorje Wangchuk, Yang Che Lama, and five hundred umbrella-bearers, and so on. Thus it is taught.
