It is said that he obtained the retention of not forgetting, so from the very beginning, without much effort, he mastered Sanskrit (Tibetan: སམ་སྐྲྀ་ཏ་) and many other branches of languages. He had no obstacles in the fields of inner and outer knowledge and all treatises. Even in the Tibetan language itself, he could point out the subtle differences that show 'this word means this,' which is far superior to others, being treatises on valid cognition, treatises on the Vedas, meaningful verses, and poetry, etc. He did not rely solely on the treatises of the staff-bearers but understood the meaning of many vast treatises that explain that knowledge. As a child, he liked to be with the Acharyas and could communicate with them, understanding merely by examining the books of the Vibhasha without difficulty. It is said that he even knew the languages and the order of sounds of animals. He also composed many commentaries and treatises such as the 'Opening of Speech.' In general, he had a profound intention to benefit those who are devoted to the Dharma, practitioners of the Dharma, and especially those who have entered the Vajrayana and wish to practice secret mantra activities and attainments. Therefore, he earnestly admonished them with unerring instructions and provided help. Knowing the time and circumstances for taming sentient beings, he was always happy to transform the minds of ordinary people and to help those who abide in the Dharma. To ordinary people whose minds have not been transformed by the Dharma, he generously gave away possessions, endured wrong practices, made them objects of compassion, and led them to peace. He cherished vows and commitments like wish-fulfilling jewels and the vital force of life, and he also led others to that. When composing sacred Dharma, he did not need speculative conjectures such as collecting and examining books. He could enter the words and meanings of the Dharma without hindrance, opening the eight great treasures of fearlessness, and the treatises he composed were all of good meaning, good words, and pure expression. Therefore, being in accordance with the secret of the teachings of the Teacher, the Great Sage, no one renowned for learning could refute him. Those who studied the secret mantra instructions composed by him became individuals in the lineage. Those who studied the secret mantra instructions composed by him became degenerates in the lineage.
