Je Bum was translated as Dorje Pal. He resided in places like Monpa Gro, Phungpo Riwo Che, and Ra Dum Brag, and through teachings, he greatly benefited others. He passed away at the age of eighty-two, in the Wood Snake year. Tanak Drolmawa Samdrub Dorje, as the son of Rimchen, who had attained accomplishments from the Nyingma mantras, was born in Tanak Neser. He received extensive teachings from Zur Jampa Senge, and was particularly skilled in illusion. He received the empowerment of illusion from Lan Nya Tsalwa Sonam Gonpo. His wisdom and activities were immeasurable (Vol. 1, 460). He devoted himself to solitary retreat. In Jema Senge, he practiced the Great Perfection Heart Essence with focused dedication, and as a result, his awareness reached its peak, and he acted in a realm as vast as the Buddha's pure land. Furthermore, he kept Zur Shakya Jungne of the retreat and Lama Sengewa of Ukpa Lungpa by his side from a young age and cared for them diligently, so they were very respectful of the lama's vows and very grateful for the Zur lineage. The supreme being known as Shangpa Kunkhyen, even as a child, this lama gave him many empowerments and blessings, making him a great scholar, and so on, his blessings are inconceivable. Before passing away at the age of eighty-two, in the Fire Dragon year, he said to his son, "You will live to be eight years old. You can also live to be my age. Then come to Sukhavati." After saying this, he passed away. There are two lineages, the Zur lineage and the Son lineage, of which the Zur lineage is Zur Hama Shakya Jungne. During the time of his father, Zur Zangpo Pal, he received edicts and gifts from Emperor Buyantu Khan. Later, due to the emperor's edict, he had to go to China. Initially, he became an attendant to the emperor, and because his power and abilities were very strong, he was able to avert bad years and quell rebellions through Dö, Zor, hailstorms, and so on. In particular, in the sky above the emperor's palace in Dadu, an inauspicious sign appeared, a black cloud in the shape of a demon, which no one could dispel. In this situation, he, by order of the emperor, released the Dö (Vol. 1, 461) for subduing demons, which was bound by eighteen pillars. Through the Cham dance, the black cloud dispersed, and so on, in the border areas.

Because of repeatedly showing the greatness of the holy Dharma, the emperor believed in Buddhism and requested the empowerment of the nine true deities and the longevity empowerment, offering a silver seal and thirteen silver bushels, as well as silk fabrics worth a hundred mules. A tantric monastery was established in the palace of Dadu. It is said that the four activities' phurba (ritual dagger) was in the palace at that time. In this way, through material wealth, the Nyingma school's twenty-eight Dharma texts, such as the Root Tantra Secret Essence, the Commentary Sparkhab, the Secret Mantra Path Order, and the Nine Instructions, were printed. Each was donated a thousand, and distributed to the monasteries. Many conditions were provided for building the Hundred Thousand Tantras, etc., which greatly benefited Buddhism. Later, King Buyantu died of wind disease after receiving hot treatment. At this time, the Sakya and Zur schools had the same core teachings and were very close. Therefore, the news of the death of Zur Jambapa Senge was sent to the Sakya school, and they said, "This is not good, now invite Zur Sangpo Pal from China." After discussing with others, the attendant Jamyang was sent to invite him. When he went to China, he became seriously ill with fever and was on the verge of death. But due to the blessings of the dakinis and Dharma protectors, his condition improved slightly. At that time, in his own vision, he met King Buyantu, who asked him, "If you go to Tibet, what kind of reward will you receive?" He answered in detail, but the king said, "Nothing was given." (Vol. 1, p. 462) Then he disappeared. He heard about this from the official Tao, who said, "Seeing you, I remembered the emperor." Then he shed tears. He was given another ten silver bushels. He invited the Vajrasattva statue made of Chinese lime and the dancing statue of the Dharma protector couple. When he went to Tibet, the Dharma protector faced Tibet and took seven steps, so it was called "Seven Steps Shell." After arriving in Tibet, for the sake of Buddhism, he built the Hundred Thousand Tantras, employed the Dharma protectors, and made clear predictions about the future. Later, due to the emperor's decree, he had to go to China again. Because he was unwilling to go, he gave the king's messengers Timur Dar and Gala silver bushels, etc., hoping they would let him go, but the messengers said, "You will be punished by the king." He did not want to go. He said, "There, all freedom is happiness, and all dependence is suffering." and so on.
