The laypeople and monks said, "Then I will offer a copper plate, a bell, and an iron chain in the continuation (Vol. 1, p. 417)." After they vowed, the sound was so loud that the two local deities were frightened. They offered something like the liver of a gold mine as a request, asking not to offer gold. They said, "Offer the gold mine until no living creature's shape appears." From one pit, a great deal of gold was extracted, and finally, a shape resembling a golden frog appeared, and then it stopped. In Mugulung, the translator received a reward worth one hundred taels of gold. In the autumn, he also performed respectful actions such as carrying thorns on his back. He was very skilled in the three sections of the tantras and the Gur (rituals), but by the grace of the great lama, he transformed his father's mind into a jewel. He said that because he had tasted the flavor of alchemy, he had once again transformed his own mind into a jewel like a wish-fulfilling gem, and a deeper conviction arose. Thus, when the Sro Phuk's pure chamber was completed at the age of sixty-one, he perfected the qualities of the five paths and became an undisputed emanation who resided on the level of the spontaneously accomplished vidyadhara. He entrusted the concept of transforming the coarse body into a pure body, and said, "Call Zur Chungwa from Drak Gyalbo." When he came, he said, "My seat will be passed on to Zur Chungwa. In order to benefit the assembly of disciples, teach in accordance with their minds. Nurture them as I have nurtured you. The disciples should also consider Zur Chungwa to have attained the accomplishments of the great glorious Vajra body, speech, and mind, and that he is better than me. Whatever he does, watch carefully. (Vol. 1, p. 418) Do not break his words, do not disobey his shadow, footprints, or even his clothes. Because there is someone who will nurture you as I have nurtured you, be full of devotion." After that, he went to the meditation room in Srampa. Once, he told the attendant, "Light the fire early this morning." When the sun rose, the attendant went to him and saw the lama meditating in bed. The attendant asked, "You are meditating now, where are you going?" The lama said, "I am going to the Sukhavati pure land. The great glorious Vajra is inseparable from me. Pray to the yidam deity." Having said this, in the sound of shaking the vajra bell, his body transformed into the nature of light and merged into the heart of the great glorious Vajra.

Emaho! At that time, it coincided with the arrival of the Khampa offering procession, so they met the Lama on the road. The Khampa's perception was blessed, and he also accepted the emanation palace they offered, and made dedications. Later, the Khampas were as if awakened from a dream, and there was nothing left. While walking in doubt, they heard on the road that the Lama had merged into the heart of the Great Glorious One. Such a Great Glorious One, because the blessing is very great, so in the future, take good care of the attendant and welcome Gyaton Shakya Yeshe. After welcoming him, Gyaton rode on a white mare, wearing a felt hat on his head, and came. In front of the Great Glorious One, he turned into a white light, circled three times to the left, and actually merged into the body, which was clearly seen by the attendant Majo Donden. Similarly, the famous Zurmo Od Bum is also said to have merged into the body (upper volume, page 419). Among the four peaks (monasteries), like the best among elephants is Degsheg Gyalpo, or Zurchung Sherab Drakpa. He is a descendant of the mantra holder Ukpa Lungpa family. His father, Tagpa Gomchen, sometimes like a madman, in the land of Yeru Tsang, Majo Sherab Kyi gave birth to a son with rare omens. At the age of seven, he learned to write and read, and at the age of nine, he could recite the peaceful and wrathful rituals. Once, a woman came often and dropped her hat in the field. Asking him if it was okay to lie in the field, he was wearing a new lower skirt, wading across the Rongchu River, and was building a dam with his hands, when the woman said, "I worked so hard to make the clothes, you don't even change them, what a waste." He said, "I don't cherish myself, if you cherish the clothes, they are there," thus retorting her, the woman angrily said, "Aren't you insulting me," and then fled back to her home. Zurchungpa developed a strong aversion to samsara, and took out the hair that the woman had left in the cave. Afterwards, he called out to her, hoping she would come up, silently sat down, handed her the hair, and said, "Men are men's property, women are women's property, take the hair away." The woman was very angry and went home. There, Zurchungpa did not consult with his father, did not take provisions from his mother, and did not consider the feelings of his friends, but took a sheepskin coat, handed it to Zurpoche, and left. On the road, he met black nomads carrying turquoise and copper.
