It is said that after the great accomplished being Devi Kote showed the manner of passing away, and after the disciples finished cremating the body, he again benefited beings in other places with the same previous body, and in some places he took new births, showing the manner of attaining supreme accomplishments, etc. These are in accordance with the appearances of ordinary people, and it is impossible to arrange the times and places exactly, just as the system of ordinary kings cannot be applied. Moreover, the biographies of this teacher, such as the Great Tang Annals, etc., appear in various treasures, and there are many profound and extensive accounts in the histories of Vajrakila, Hayagriva, etc., but there is no space to write them here. However, in general, this great teacher is universally regarded as miraculously born, and if he is said to be born from a womb, then some ignorant people on our side will be so angry that they will die. Some later self-proclaimed wise men, seeing that the place and time do not match, like the biography of an ordinary person, still insist on arranging it, and so on. In any case, it seems that they benefit beings like illusions, because they have the ability to control the inconceivable play of illusions, so there will never be any contradictions. In order to understand this principle, I have briefly mentioned both sides. The way he came to Tibet will be described below. 4. How Buddhism came to the snowy land of Tibet, the formation of the environment and beings of Tibet, and the history of kings and ministers. Next, how did the precious teachings come to and flourish in the region surrounded by snow mountains? The reason for the flourishing of Buddhism in this region is entirely due to the kindness of the feet of the great teacher Padmasambhava. Initially, for those who could not practice the Dharma, he blessed them from many aspects to become vessels capable of practicing the true Dharma. First, he built temples, and then established monastic communities of Sutra and Tantra, thereby causing the actual Dharma to flourish. As it is said in the "Teachings and Calculations": When entering Samadhi on the Vajra Throne, Avalokiteshvara repeatedly urged him to go to Tibet, but because the Bon religion controlled the government, it was difficult to spread the true Dharma, so he transformed himself into a person named Lha Shen Thod Kar, and gave a sign to the Tibetan King Thothori...

Tsa. Transforming interest in the Dharma, recognizing good and evil, and transforming all the white rituals of the Shenrab (Upper Volume, p. 214) into Bon thought. Returning to Rewata-la, he explained the meaning of the eighteen tantras of Marati. At that time, he manifested eight emanations, causing Oddiyana and India, both east and west, to flourish. The people of Tibet also merely understood the Dharma of cause and effect. Seeing beings as those to be tamed, he manifested as a Dharma King emanation, established the ten virtues, founded the great tradition of the sacred Dharma, and built 108 temples in the center and throughout the borders. Thus it is said. King Songtsen Gampo was also Oddiyana himself. Furthermore, it is said that in the time of Srongtsen, someone called Oddiyana Shiva Manju appeared, according to some Dharma histories. Moreover, in the Sutra Requested by the Immaculate Goddess, it says: 2500 years after my Nirvana, in the land of the red-faced demons, the sacred Dharma will flourish. Also, in the Zamatogpa Sutra, the Eight Thousand Prajnaparamita, the Vajra Dakini Tantra, and many other strings of prophecies, it is praised: This land surrounded by Mount Kailash was initially filled with purifying elements, like a lake that was like a wiped blue lapis lazuli mandala. Gradually drying up, it became filled with junipers and other trees and beautiful forests, becoming a land. As it is said in the thirty-sixth chapter of the Manjushri Root Tantra: From now, a hundred years from now, the lake in the snowy land will dry up, and a sala forest will appear. Here, most Tibetan scholars say that, according to the commentary on the Excellent Praise by the great scholar Shakya Gocha, formerly, when the five sons of King Kyasang and the twelve armies of evil sound fought, a king named Rupate, with a hundred attendants, dressed in women's clothing and fled into the snowy mountains, from which they developed, and this is still widely known in Tibet today. They say this. To this, Pal Tsuglak Trengwa says: That is not the origin of all Tibetans. Moreover, in some of the Mon regions near Tibet, there are many imitations of Tibetan sounds, and that is all. And so on. He said this, so I also think so. Because it is said that King Kyasang appeared at the beginning of the age of strife, much earlier than the Teacher (Buddha), and was very great.
