The Lotsawa (translator) Sangye Yeshe Zhap of Bo (a place in Tibet) initially relied on many teachers such as the master Jalandharipa, the master of Oddiyana, Sgegpa Dorje, and the yogini Guneru, and heard many aspects of the secret mantra. He combined the ingredients with myrrh and continuous-flow mother. Once, he relied on the master Palitapada of Konkana for nine years, and although he listened to the Guhyasamaja Tantra eighteen times, he did not realize the true nature. When he asked the master, he said, "I have not realized it either." Then, behind Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya), in a place called Kuya's Garden, he performed the four branches of approach and accomplishment, including the throwing of torma, for twelve months. He practiced fierce conduct for six months, totaling eighteen months. Then, a prophecy came that if he wanted to realize the true nature, he should ask the noble Manjushri. Thinking, "Then he (Manjushri) resides in Ja or Five-Peaked Mountain, I must go there," (Stod Cha, p. 174) he went in that direction. After walking for about half a day, near a pure white house, he saw Manjushri, a virtuous friend, an old householder wearing a Dharma robe as a turban, plowing the field together with an ugly woman. He was slightly disinclined. Next to them, an ugly white dog was lying down. There, when it was time for food, (the householder) caught a fish from the ditch for a beggar and gave it to the dog. The dog vomited, and (the householder) offered it to the Lotsawa, but because (the Lotsawa) had conceptual thoughts, he did not accept it. The householder said, "People of Jambudvipa have great conceptual thoughts, eat something good." Then he went elsewhere. There, the woman brought rice and yogurt, and after (the Lotsawa) ate, he prepared to leave. (The woman) said, "Today is not the time, you won't reach Drog. Leave tomorrow." So he stayed there. He recited the Guhyasamaja Tantra, and whenever the Lotsawa himself had doubts, the woman would show a displeased expression. Thinking, "This person can read other people's minds," he asked her to dispel his doubts. (The woman) said, "I don't know, but that householder is very knowledgeable about Guhyasamaja, he will come in the evening, ask him to dispel your doubts." Just as (the woman) said, the next evening, the householder came staggering, drunk with alcohol. (The Lotsawa) knew that he was a practitioner of mantra, so he prostrated to him and asked him to dispel his doubts. (The householder) thought that he needed empowerment. When asked where he had received (the empowerment), (the householder) said, "My Dharma"

The master said, "I need to be initiated," and went to a room. In the evening, the master called me in, and in front of the mandala of the emanated Manjushri (འཇམ་དཔལ་) Vajra Nineteen Deities, householders, nuns, and a female dog appeared. The master said, "From whom do you receive the initiation?" I replied, "I receive it from the mandala." The master said, "Then come here." Then the three of us went to another room, and the mandala disappeared. There, the master generated compassion and prayed with words of grief such as, "You are the sole father of all sentient beings." The mandala appeared again as before, and he gave the initiation. He explained the instructions of the Great Perfection Mind Series, and realization became inseparable from the sky. This practice of the reality of the two stages, called "Manjushri's Oral Transmission," was done by the master as a compiler. Through this, he reached the depths of all dharmas. Initially, due to the inauspicious connection of distrusting the food vomited by the dog and the behavior of the householders, although he did not attain the supreme accomplishment with that body, it is said that he manifested the state of Vajradhara in the bardo. Later, Srungwa's Feet (བསྲུང་བའི་ཞབས་) also requested instructions from this master and attained accomplishment. He also composed very many treatises such as "The Bindu of Liberation" and "The Kunsang Sadhana." The completion stage instructions of this master, those previously translated into Tibet, existed with the pure views of their respective schools. Therefore, the following disciples and their groups also entered the lineage of the meaning of the Great Perfection. Some have also heard that the master Shri Singha (ཤྲཱི་སིདྷ་) is also one of the names of this master. At that time, the son of the king of China's Zhoshuo Island (ཞོ་ཤོ་གླིང་), named Drukkhyer (གྲུ་ཁྱེར), and his mother named Nanka (ནན་ཀ་) (page 176), was named Shri Sidha Prabha (ཤྲཱི་སིདྷ་པྲ་བ་ཏ་). He studied with five hundred panditas and became an expert in the five sciences. Once, on the way to the western city called Golden Island (གསེར་གླིང་), the noble Avalokiteshvara appeared from the sky and prophesied, "Fortunate one, if you truly desire the fruit, go to the Sosaling (སོ་ས་གླིང ) charnel ground in India." The master was satisfied with this, and in order to make that unsurpassed fruit easier to understand, he began to explain the secret mantra of
