增大后，一千个儿子中留下一个头戴宝冠的，那就是佛陀无量功德名闻。之后出现小者无量智慧之名，那是千位佛陀的最后一位名为“信乐”，具有九百九十九位佛陀的寿命，以及等同于声闻僧众的数量。因为自身如此信乐，所以名为“信乐”。童子法心和法慧二者中，法心是金刚手，是千佛的结集者；法慧是劝请转法轮者，是梵天顶髻。父亲国王持国是燃灯佛。这是出自《不可思议经》中所说。小乘行者们，这样的千佛也不会出现在成劫和坏劫，而是出现在住劫。在住劫中，寿命有增劫和减劫两种，大多出现在减劫的八万岁到百岁之间。在那之前出现是因为厌倦心稍重，所以不致力于佛法。不会晚于八万岁出现，因为众生、寿命、烦恼、见解和时代这五浊会非常兴盛。不会出现在增劫，因为人们自然放弃不善，事物增长，所以他们不会生起厌倦。如果不会早于八万岁出现，然而，信乐佛（上册，19页）出现时，据说人们能活到无量岁，那是由于那位佛陀的愿力所致。那些也只是针对这个贤劫的安排而言，并非所有情况都如此。在《妙法莲华经》中，在寿命十岁的时候，名为“以拇指行世”的世界中，在拇指大小的人中，据说会出现名为“乐星”的佛陀，身高一肘七指左右。同样，未来在名为“珍宝庄严劫”中，当人们的寿命能活到八中劫时，在名为“无尘佛土”的佛土中，舍利弗成佛的名号是莲花光。

After increasing, one out of a thousand sons remained, adorned with a diadem, and that was the Buddha Limitless Qualities Renown. Then appears the name of the youngest, Limitless Wisdom, who is the last of the thousand Buddhas, named "Adhimukti (Faith and Joy)", possessing the lifespan of nine hundred ninety-nine Buddhas, and a number equal to the assembly of Shravakas. Because he himself has such faith and joy, he is called "Adhimukti". Of the two boys, Dharma-citta (Dharma-mind) and Dharma-mati (Dharma-wisdom), Dharma-citta is Vajrapani, who is the compiler of the teachings of the thousand Buddhas; Dharma-mati is Brahma Sikhin, who urges and requests the turning of the wheel of Dharma. His father, King Dhrtarastra, is Dipamkara. This is from the Sutra of Inconceivable Matters. Those of the Hinayana, such a thousand Buddhas do not appear in the kalpas of formation and destruction, but in the kalpa of abiding. In the abiding kalpa, there are two types of lifespans, increasing and decreasing, and they mostly appear in the decreasing kalpa from eighty thousand years to one hundred years. Before that, they appear because the weariness is somewhat heavy, so they do not strive for the Dharma. They do not appear later than eighty thousand years, because the five degenerations of beings, lifespan, afflictions, views, and time will become very intense. They do not appear in the increasing kalpa, because people naturally abandon non-virtue, and things increase, so they do not develop weariness. If they do not appear earlier than eighty thousand years, however, when the Buddha Adhimukti (Vol. 1, p. 19) appears, it is said that people can live for immeasurable years, which is due to the power of that Buddha's aspiration. Those are also in consideration of the arrangement of this Bhadrakalpa, but not in all cases. In the Lotus Sutra, in the world called "Traveling by Thumb" at the time of a ten-year lifespan, among people the size of a thumb, it is said that a Buddha named "Fond of Stars" will appear, with a height of one cubit and seven fingers. Similarly, in the future, in the kalpa called "Adorned with Jewels", when people's lifespan can last for eight intermediate kalpas, in the Buddha-field called "Dustless", Shariputra's name as a Buddha will be Lotus Light.
