In an unmoved state, it does not abide in anything, therefore it is called self-arisen wisdom. The Uttaratantra (Vol. 1, p. 96) says: Earth relies on water, water on wind, and wind thoroughly abides in space. Space does not abide in wind and water, nor does it abide in the element of earth. Likewise, the roots, aggregates, realms, and sense bases all depend on karma and afflictions. Karma and afflictions are not in accordance with reality, they always abide in attention. Attention that is not in accordance with reality thoroughly abides in the purity of mind. The nature of mind, all phenomena, does not abide in anything at all. Thus, whether or not self-arisen wisdom is realized depends on the vehicle, and therefore contemplation arises. Thus, these three vehicles are also divided into three according to the inferior, middling, and superior faculties of sentient beings, and the vehicle of the tamer is also shown to be the same. In the Great Perfection Ati it says: The doctrines I have taught are from the order of sentient beings' minds, with differences of great and small, taught in the manner of two orders, each with its own view and preservation. The meaning of what was said is that the mundane and supramundane vehicles are divided into two, and in the former, the preservation of the two, preservation and wrong understanding, is the vehicle of gods and humans, as it is said: On the ladder of gods and humans, if you climb, liberation is near. As it says in the Vajrasattva Illusion Net: The earliest of the vehicles is the vehicle of gods and humans. (Vol. 1, p. 97) Thus it is said. Perverted understanding is, as it says in Rangshar: The wrong vehicle is like this, it assumes three hundred and sixty assemblies of destruction. The omniscient great Kunkhyen's Yizhin Dzö extensively explains existence and non-existence. That can also be summarized into the two roots of permanence and annihilation. Those who speak of permanence are: the followers of the sage Kapila, the Samkhya school, which takes the twenty-five principles; and the followers of the sage Kana and Akshapada, to whom the great Lord Ishvara gave the best, the Vaisheshika school, which acknowledges the six categories of knowledge, name, and meaning; and the followers of the teacher Jayanta, who thinks like Vishnu, the Vaishnava school; and the followers of the sage Jina, the Jains, who acknowledge the six substances, known as the four schools of permanence. The followers of the sage Purana, propagated by the sage Indradatta, are known as Charvakas or hedonists.

is the view of annihilation. It also has two subdivisions: those who say that the cause is annihilated and those who say that the result is annihilated. In addition, those who hold the doctrines composed by Rahula, the followers of the Asuras, the Tajiks or those known as Klaklas, as well as the Yungdrung Bon, the followers of Shenrab Miwo in Tibet, and the Jinxing sects, the followers of those who call immortals Bagin in China, although not actually heretics, the former is worse than heretics, and the latter two do not admit self, etc., although better than heretics, are in accordance with the eternalists. This is what the omniscient teacher of the day says. Although there is no path to liberation for heretics, there are two kinds of dharma that lead to higher realms: those who deny the results of evil gods, such as the Lokayatas, and those who say that violence is dharma do not have a pure path to higher realms, while some followers of supreme gods, such as the Samkhyas, and those who abide in heretical meditation have a path to higher realms. The reason why heretics do not have liberation is that they do not abandon the mind that grasps at self, which is called the ego-grasping of a person. As it is said: "Turning away from your teachings, ignorant beings, even reaching the peak of existence, also produce suffering and create samsara." As it is said, the mind that grasps at self, which has been continuous since beginningless time, is very firm, and the sect also proves that I, that is, myself, is pervasive and has many, and meditates on its meaning, and there is no other antidote to the grasping of reality, so it cannot eliminate ego-grasping, and ego-grasping is the cause of all afflictions. Explanation of Vehicles and Sects. There are three ways to explain the transcendental vehicle: to generally explain the ways in which it surpasses outsiders, and to explain it in detail separately. First, it surpasses outsiders by accepting the four seals of the view and taking refuge in the three jewels of the gods, because outsiders do not have these. Second, there are five: essence, definition, division, necessity, and result. The first is any kind of dharma that can liberate from samsara.
