For those without objects of focus, rejoicing in the roots of virtue, rejoicing in mindfulness, is here said to be meditation. Its essence is supreme, not manifestly attached to all. Directing towards the absence of objects in all phenomena is of great significance. Relying on the Buddha, generosity, and skillful means, are the causes for faith in this. The causes of poverty in Dharma are being oppressed by the hordes of demons, not having faith in the profound Dharma, attachment to the aggregates, and being completely seized by evil friends. Pure fruits, such as form, are pure because the two are not different and are inseparable, hence called pure. For the sake of diminishing the faults of afflictions, knowable objects, and the path, the purity of disciples and Bodhisattvas is different, while the Buddhas are completely pure. In the nine grounds, the great antidote is for the great, and the small for the small, etc., the path is pure. Therefore, by abandoning disputes, the path can be seen and measured. By equality, it is considered the antidote to the three realms. From the verses of the Abhisamayalankara (Ornament of Clear Realization), a treatise on the instructions of the Prajnaparamita (Perfection of Wisdom), the second chapter ends. Chapter Three Not on this shore, not on the other shore, not dwelling in between. For the sake of knowing the equality of all times, it is called Prajnaparamita (Perfection of Wisdom). From the perspective of focusing on characteristics, it is distant due to the lack of skillful means. But through skillful means, it is said to be truly near. The concept of conduct is different regarding the emptiness of aggregates such as form, regarding the phenomena of understanding the three times, and regarding the aspects of enlightenment such as generosity. There is no self-grasping in generosity, etc., others combine this with it. This prevents the extreme of attachment, therefore attachment to kings, etc., is slight. The path of Dharma is profound because it is naturally solitary. By knowing that the nature of all phenomena is one, attachment is abandoned. By blocking seeing, etc., it is said to be difficult to realize. Because form, etc., are not understood, it is considered inconceivable. Thus, in the system of all-knowingness, all the distinctions of different opposing factors should be understood here as previously stated. Regarding form, etc., observing impermanence, etc., observing incompleteness and complete perfection, and regarding non-attachment, the cessation and combination of actions, and immutability and non-agency, and the combination of the three difficult practices. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having obtained results according to their respective causes, those who desire results and are independent, Independent of other conditions and able to know, manifesting the seven aspects of sentient beings. Without attachment to form and so on, the equality of the four, having known the Dharma in the truths of suffering and so on, Following knowledge and forbearance, the wisdom of an instant, this is the direct perception of all-knowingness. Form is neither permanent nor impermanent, transcending all boundaries, pure in nature, Unborn, unceasing, like space, abandoning attachment, liberated from bondage, Its essence is beyond words, without designation, therefore this meaning cannot be spoken, Not given to others, without object of focus, extremely pure, without illness, severing evil destinies, The result should be directly realized, not conceptually, free from characteristics, unrelated, Regarding objects, names, and the two, the wisdom of no arising in an instant, This is the nature of all-knowing wisdom, thus this and again these, these three kinds of distinctions, These three kinds of entities, are completely and fully explained here, the teaching of the Prajñāpāramitā, A concise explanation of the Ornament of Clear Realization, the explanation of the third chapter is complete. Chapter Four The distinctions of the basis of knowledge, are called aspects, because of the three aspects of all-knowingness, therefore they are considered as three aspects, starting from the aspect of non-existence, up to the aspect of immovability, four each in the four truths, fifteen in the truth of the path, in the truths of suffering, origin, and cessation, the order is eight, seven, five, and sixteen, starting from the mindfulnesses, up to the ultimate aspects of Buddhahood, in accordance with the truth of the path, because of dividing into three wisdoms, for the Shravakas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas in order, thirty-seven, thirty-four, and thirty-nine, superior for the Buddhas, generating roots of virtue in them, possessing virtuous friends, this is a vessel for listening to the Dharma, what the Buddhas taught and asked, giving, practicing morality and so on, taking and holding, these are considered excellent vessels, not attached to form and so on, preventing union with them, the suchness of them is profound, they are difficult to measure, they are without measure, realized after a long time in a great gathering, prophecy of non-retrogression. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
