Unspeakable. Forms and so on do not abide, Those have no essence of their own nature. The nature of those one is one, Those do not abide in impermanence and so on. Those are empty of that essence, The nature of those one is one. Not grasping what the dharmas are, 1-987 Those are not seen as signs, therefore completely realized by wisdom, Everything is without object. Forms and so on are without essence of essence, That non-existence itself is essence. Those are unborn and undetermined, Without liberation. Pure and those are without signs, Not relying on that sign, therefore there is no desire or non-desire. That is the action of samadhi, Prophecy and arrogance cease. The three are mutually one essence, Samadhi is non-conceptual. Thus, the conducive conditions for definite liberation, Are small, medium, and large. With the base and its antidote, The distinction of what is grasped is twofold. With the distinction of ignorance and aggregates and so on, That is divided into nine types. With substance and the basis of imputation, Grasping is also considered to be twofold. Such as self-existence, self, and so on, and Aggregates and so on are likewise dependent on the basis. The mind not regressing and so on, Shows non-essence and so on. Abandoning that which is the opposite side, Is complete holding. The six dharmas of realization, And the antidote and abandonment, And the complete reliance on those, Wisdom and compassion combined, The uncommonness of the disciple, And the order of benefiting others, Wisdom without effort, The basis for entering should be known as lineage. 1-988 Since there is no difference in the realm of dharma, lineage cannot have differences. With the difference of the dependent dharmas, The difference of that is completely spoken. The object is all dharmas, That is also virtue and so on. The realization of the worldly, And those who desire transcendence, Defiled and undefiled dharmas, And conditioned and unconditioned. Common dharmas of disciples, And the uncommon dharmas of the Buddha. The supreme mind of all sentient beings, And abandonment and realization and the three, With the self-arising of the three great, This should be known as the purpose. Those each giving and so on, Collected in six ways, What is the practice of armor, That is explained as it is with six sets of six. Dhyana, formless, giving and so on, And the path and love and so on, And without object and endowed, And the purity of the three spheres, The purpose and the six superknowledges, In the manner of all-knowing, The practice of entering is the Great Vehicle. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Know that this is the ladder to climb. The six perfections, such as love and generosity, The path of uniting calm abiding and insight, And skillful means, Wisdom and merit, The path, dharani, and the ten bhumis, The practice of antidotes and accumulations, Know that this is the order. Through the ten purifications, The first bhumi will be attained, Which is the nature of mindfulness and benefit, And the equal mind towards all beings. Generosity and relying on spiritual friends, Seeking the Dharma and the object of focus, Constantly having the mind of renunciation, And the joy of desiring to become a Buddha, Teaching the Dharma and truthful Words are considered the tenth. Because these do not fixate on self-nature, Know that this is purification. Discipline, patience, and forbearance, Great joy and compassion, Respecting the guru and listening respectfully, The eighth is diligence in generosity and so on. Not being satiated with listening, And giving the Dharma without attachment to wealth, Purifying all Buddha-fields, Not being weary of samsara, Having a sense of shame and embarrassment. The five natures without arrogance, Living in the forest, desiring little and being content, Correctly practicing discipline, Not abandoning the precepts, Reproaching desires, Abandoning nirvana and all possessions, Not shrinking back and having no views. Not being close to and attached to family, And places that lead to busyness, Praising oneself and belittling others, And the ten paths of non-virtuous actions, Arrogance, conceit, and perversion, Bad wisdom and enduring afflictions. If these ten are abandoned, The fifth bhumi will be truly attained. Generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, Meditation and wisdom are perfected, For disciples and rhinos (solitary realizers), Abandoning the mind of joy and fear. Even when begged, not shrinking back, Even when giving away all possessions, not regretting, Even when poor, not abandoning begging, The sixth bhumi will be truly attained. Attachment to self and beings, And life and the person, annihilation and permanence, Signs, causes, aggregates, Elements and sources, And abiding and attachment to the three realms. The mind is always dejected, Towards the Three Jewels and discipline, And attachment to seeing them, Arguing with emptiness, And faults contrary to this, Cutting off these twenty, The seventh bhumi will be attained. Knowing the three doors of liberation, And the purity of the three spheres, Compassion and no arrogance, Knowing the equality of all dharmas and the same essence, Non-arising and patience, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
