Relying on the true cause, the form of the result is inherently untrue. Know that all arise from this. Therefore, it is unreasonable to equate things with the 'concept of a pot'. Because there is no birth, things and so on do not exist either. Therefore, they cannot have shapes either. It cannot exist in itself in seven ways, nor can it exist in the world. However, due to a lack of analysis, it is merely named through worldly convention, relying on its own components. It itself is the whole with components, and the word 'chariot' is also used to refer to the maker. For people, it is considered the receiver. Do not destroy worldly conventions. Yogis cannot find 'existence' that does not exist in seven ways. Therefore, through it, it can be easily understood. Therefore, it is desired to establish it here in this way. If the chariot is truly existent, then there are no components, nor is there a whole. If the chariot is broken, it is like having no components. The fire of wisdom burns the whole and the components. Similarly, through worldly conventions, relying on the aggregates, elements, and six sense bases, 'I' is also considered the receiver. Because it is the receiver, it is also the maker. Because it is not truly existent, it is not permanent. Because it is not non-permanent, it is not subject to birth and destruction. Therefore, it does not have permanence, etc. either. It is neither the same nor different. For those who are always attached to 'I', whatever arises from 'I' is due to unexamined worldly conventions, arising from ignorance. Because there is no maker, there is no 'mine'. Therefore, 'I' does not exist in non-self. Therefore, observing that 'I' and 'mine' are empty, the yogi will be liberated. Pots, cloths, camps, armies, forests, garlands, trees, houses, vehicles, fragments, and inns, etc., and those that arise through doors, should all be understood. Because the capable one (Shakyamuni Buddha) does not argue with the world. Components, attributes, desire, characteristics, and firewood, etc., those with attributes, those with components, attachment, and those with characteristics, and things like fire. Through the analysis of the chariot, it is found that it does not exist in seven ways, but it exists through worldly conventions different from the seven ways. If the cause produces the result, then the cause is the result. If not, then what can produce what? Depending on the cause of truth, the nature of the fruit's form is not true. Know that all arise from this. Therefore, it is unreasonable to regard form, etc., as 'the thought of a pot'. Because there is no birth, form, etc., also do not exist. Therefore, they also cannot have a shape. It can neither exist in itself in seven ways, nor can it exist in the world. However, due to a lack of analysis, it is only named by this world, relying on its own components. It itself is the whole with components, and the word 'chariot' is also used to refer to the maker. For beings, it is considered the receiver. Do not destroy the worldly convention. Yogis cannot find 'existence' that does not exist in seven ways. Therefore, through it, one can easily understand it. Therefore, it is hoped to establish it here in this way. If the chariot truly exists, then there are no components, nor is there a whole. If the chariot is broken, it is like having no components. The fire of wisdom burns the whole and the components. Similarly, through the worldly convention, relying on the five aggregates, twelve处(处, chu) and six 界(界, jie), 'I' is also considered the receiver. Because it is the receiver, it is also the maker. Because it is not truly existent, it is not permanent. Because it is not non-permanent, it is not subject to birth and destruction. Therefore, it also does not have permanence, etc. It is neither the same nor different. For those beings who are constantly attached to 'I', whatever arises from 'I' is because of the unexamined worldly convention, originating from ignorance. Because there is no maker, there is no 'mine'. Therefore, 'I' does not exist in non-self. Therefore, contemplating that 'I' and 'mine' are emptiness, the yogi will be liberated. Pots, cloths, camps, armies, forests, garlands, trees, houses, vehicles, fragments, and inns, etc., and those that arise through doors, should all be understood.
