Because there is no end to the world, etc. When you see your yoga of no-self, Then you will surely feel that all things are empty. If you abandon the permanent self, then for that reason, Your mind or the five skandhas will not become self. When you see your yoga of no-self, You will not realize form, etc., because of it. Because attachment, etc., arises from form, Because you have not realized that nature. Because the Teacher said that the five skandhas are self, Therefore, if you think that the five skandhas are self, That is to prevent the self other than the five skandhas, Because other sutras say that form is not self, etc. Because other sutras say that form and feeling are not self, nor is perception, Nor is volition, nor is consciousness, Therefore, in general, it is not considered that the five skandhas mentioned in the sutras are self. When it is said that the five skandhas are self, it is the collection of the five skandhas, not the nature of the five skandhas. Not a protector, not a tamer, nor a witness. Because there is not that, so it is not that collection. At that time, the place where that limb collection is located, Will become a chariot, and the chariot is similar to me. The sutra says that the five skandhas are the basis, Therefore, the aggregation of the five skandhas is not self. If it is a shape, because that exists in the colored one, You will also think that those are self. The collection of mind, etc., will not become self, Because those have no shape. The receiver, the self-near-taker, and the same kind of things are not real things. If that is the case, the author will become one. If you think that there is no author, karma will exist, That is not right, because without an author there is no karma. Because the Muni said that that self is earth, water, fire, Wind and consciousness, called space, Relying on the six realms and the six places such as the eye, Relying on and near-relying, Holding the mind and mental dharmas, Thus it is definitely said, therefore that is not those, Nor is it just a collection of those, Therefore, the ego-grasping is not those. When realizing no-self, abandoning the permanent self, This is also not considered the basis of self. Therefore, by knowing no-self, the view of self Will also be completely destroyed, it is very strange to say this. It is like seeing a snake living in the cracks in the walls of one's own house, Then dispel the doubts and say that there is no elephant here, Thus also abandoning the fear of snakes, Alas! This has really become the god of others! There is no self in the five skandhas, and in me also There are no those five skandhas, because here If there is a different entity, this distinction will arise, There is no different entity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then why cling to this? I do not desire form; why cling to 'I'? Since 'I' does not exist, there is no point in connecting 'having' with form. If 'having' is something different from form, or if 'having' is not form, then 'I' is neither the same as nor different from form. Form is not 'I', and 'I' am not one who possesses form. There is no 'I' in form, and there is no form in 'I'. Likewise, all the aggregates should be understood in four ways. Therefore, viewing these as 'I' is considered twenty kinds of wrong views. With the vajra (金刚杵,梵文:Vajra,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:Vajra,字面意思:金刚杵) of realizing no-self, destroy that which is associated with 'I', and that which is born with it, those towering peaks situated on the mountain of the aggregate of views. Some believe that the inexpressible Pudgala (补特伽罗,梵文:Pudgala,梵文天城体:पुद्गल,梵文罗马拟音:Pudgala,字面意思:人) is real, neither permanent nor impermanent. They consider it to be the object of the six consciousnesses and the root of self-grasping. Since the inexpressible 'mind' cannot be distinguished from form, one cannot cognize the real, inexpressible thing. If 'I' truly existed in a real way, then it should be like 'mind', real and inexpressible. Since you cannot prove that the nature of a pot is not form, etc., and is inexpressible, then if 'I' is inexpressible from the aggregates, it should not be considered independently existent. You do not consider your consciousness aggregate to be different from 'I', but you consider it to be different from form, etc., and you consider these two things to have different properties. Therefore, 'I' is separate from things because it does not have the properties of things. Therefore, the basis of self-grasping is not a thing. It is neither different from the aggregates nor the nature of the aggregates. It is not the basis of the aggregates, nor is it one who possesses the aggregates. It exists dependently on the aggregates. Just as a chariot is neither independent of its parts, nor the same as its parts, neither having parts, nor in the parts, neither merely a collection of parts, nor a shape. If merely a collection of parts is a chariot, then when the parts are scattered, there should also be a chariot. Since there are no parts, there is no collection of parts, then merely a shape cannot be considered a chariot. You consider the shape to exist in each part, just as it belongs to the chariot. Then, what about those scattered parts? In that case, the chariot does not exist. Now, if the chariot at this moment has different shapes on the axles, etc., if this can be grasped, then it also does not exist. Therefore, merely a shape cannot be considered a chariot. Since you do not have any collection, then the shape is not a property of the collection of parts. If nothing exists, then how can one rely on it to observe the shape? However you view this, it cannot be established. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
