‘What are you?’ That is ‘Uncompounded Emptiness’ (འདུས་མ་བྱས་སྟོང་ཉིད།,Anutpāda-śūnyatā,anutpāda-śūnyatā,Emptiness of Non-Production). ‘What has no limit?’ That is called ‘Beyond Limit’. That is merely emptiness itself, referred to as ‘Emptiness Beyond Limit’. Because there is no beginning, first, end, or limit, saṃsāra is called ‘without beginning or end’. Because it is free from coming and going, it is like a dream. ‘What is this existence that is empty because of it?’ That is ‘Emptiness without beginning or end’. It is definitely stated in the scriptures: ‘Abandoning’ refers to ‘scattering’ and ‘forgetting’. ‘Without abandoning’ means ‘not giving up’, nothing is abandoned. ‘Without abandoning’ itself is emptiness itself. Therefore, it is called ‘Emptiness without abandoning’. The nature of ‘compounded’ etc., because the Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathāgatas do not create, therefore for ‘compounded’ etc., the nature is called ‘self-nature’. That itself is emptiness, that is ‘Self-Nature Emptiness’. The eighteen dhātus, the six contacts, and the six feelings arising from them, as well as the form, formless, and the compounded and uncompounded dharmas. What is the emptiness of all these dharmas because of them? What are the non-existent things such as form? That is ‘Self-Characteristic Emptiness’. Form has the characteristic of being changeable (གཟུགས་རུང་,rūpa-yukta,rupa-yukta,having form), feeling has the nature of experiencing. Perception is holding onto characteristics, saṃskāra is manifesting actions. Consciousness individually recognizes objects, consciousness is its own characteristic. The suffering of the aggregates is its own characteristic, the nature of the dhātus is like a venomous snake. The āyatanas are said by the Buddha to be the doors of birth. What is dependent origination? That is the characteristic of aggregation. Generosity is the pāramitā of giving (གཏོང་བ་སྦྱིན་པའི་ཕ་རོལ་ཕྱིན།,dāna-pāramitā,dana-paramita,giving to the other shore), morality is the characteristic of being without affliction, patience is the characteristic of being without anger, diligence is without fault. Dhyāna is the characteristic of concentration, prajñā is the characteristic of being without attachment. These are said to be the characteristics of the six pāramitās. Dhyānas, immeasurables, and other formless ones, these are truly known, and are called the characteristic of being unconfused. The thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are the self-characteristic of definite emergence. The characteristic of emptiness is that it is completely empty because there is no object. The signless is peace, the third characteristic is the liberation from suffering and ignorance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The characteristic is complete liberation. The powers are said to be the nature of thorough determination. The fearlessness of protection is the essence of extreme stability. The various correct knowledges have immeasurable characteristics such as pride. Accomplishing benefit for beings is called great love. Protecting all those who suffer is great compassion. Joy is the characteristic of great joy, and equanimity is said to be the characteristic of non-contamination. The Buddha's uncommon Dharmas, it is pleasing to say are ten or eight. Because the one who teaches cannot take away, therefore it is the nature of non-appropriation. The wisdom of all-knowingness is considered to be the nature of direct perception. Others are partial, therefore they are not considered direct perception. What is the nature of conditioned things, and what is the nature of unconditioned things? It is only emptiness, that is the emptiness of self-nature. The present does not abide, and the past and future do not exist. Where those are not seen, that is called invisibility. Invisibility is its own nature, and by that, whatever is devoid, is not permanent, not destructible, therefore it is the emptiness called invisibility. Because things arise from conditions, they do not have the nature of aggregation. Aggregation is just that emptiness, it is the emptiness of non-entity. In short, by the term 'things,' the five aggregates are spoken of. Whatever emptiness they have, that is explained as the emptiness of things. In short, non-things refer to unconditioned Dharmas. That itself is empty by non-things, it is the emptiness of non-things. The absence of inherent nature is the emptiness called inherent nature. Thus, because there is no inherent nature, it is referred to as inherent nature. Whether Buddhas appear or do not appear, in reality, the emptiness of all things is proclaimed as otherness. True reality and suchness are the emptiness of such things. In the way of the Perfection of Wisdom, these are proclaimed in that way. Thus, illuminating with the light of wisdom, like a myrobalan fruit held in one's hand, completely realizing that these three realms are unborn from the beginning, and ceasing by the power of conventional truth. Although it is the meditation of constant cessation, it also generates compassion for beings who are without protectors. Therefore, all of these, including the supreme Sugata speech-born and the intermediate Buddhas, will be obtained.
