Yes. The other three, such as the ear, do not arise either. Just like a dream, it is the same when awake. All things are false, and the mind does not exist. There is no object of experience, and the senses do not exist either. How it is when awake here, as long as one is not awake, the three are there. Once awake, the three do not exist, just like waking up from the sleep of delusion. The wisdom with blurred senses, sees hairs with the power of blurriness. That wisdom relies on both being true. For clear seeing, both are false. If there is no knowable, but there is wisdom, then the object of the hair and the eye are related. Even without blurriness, the hair would become wisdom. If it is not like that, then it does not exist. Because there is the ability of wisdom in what is seen, it is not mature, therefore it does not become wisdom. If it is said that because there is no knowable entity, then because there is no ability, this cannot be established. For what is born, there is no possibility of ability. For the unborn nature, there is also no ability. Without difference, there is no one with difference. Just like the son of a barren woman, that is also existent. If one wants to say it is because it is going to happen, then without ability, there will be no happening of this. The establishment of mutual dependence, the noble ones say that this is not established. If it is said that it changes from the maturity of the ceased ability, then from the ability of another, another will arise. The permanent ones are different from each other there. Therefore, everything will arise from everything. If it is said that the permanent ones are different there. There is no difference between those permanent ones, therefore there is no fault, then this needs to be proven. In the case of no different permanent, this is unreasonable. Maitreya says that relying on hidden dharmas, because they are other, they do not belong to one continuum. Those that are individually different by their own characteristics, it is unreasonable that they belong to one continuum. The arising of eye consciousness, from what self-power does it come? It immediately arises from everything, and one's own consciousness is that ability as the basis. The root with form is called the eye. Here, the consciousness arising from the root, without an external object, from one's own seed, without realizing that it appears as blue etc., people think there is an external object. In a dream, there are no other objects such as color, from the maturity of one's own ability, such a mind arises. It is the same when awake, here there is no external object, but there is mind. Just like without eyes, in a dream, the mind consciousness appearing as blue etc. arises. Without the eye root, one's own seed matures.

'Why would a blind person be born here?' If, like you, one possesses the dream power of the sixth consciousness, yet lacks this power when awake, how could the dream power of the sixth consciousness not be here? Thus, why not say that there is nothing in dreams? 1-756 Just as the absence of eyes is not the cause of this, sleep is not the cause in dreams either. Therefore, in dreams, that eye consciousness is a false realm, and should be accepted as the cause of awareness. In response to this: 'What is sown is what is reaped,' this is the same as a vow. Seeing this, the Buddhas, in order to quell disputes, have never shown that anything exists. Yogis, relying on the oral instructions of the Guru, see the ground filled with skeletons, and also see that the three realms are without origination, in order to demonstrate wrong thoughts. How are the objects of your senses? If unpleasantness also changes in this way, then if another focuses on that object, that awareness will not turn into falsehood either. Like a blind person is similar to one with eyes, a hungry ghost sees pus and blood in flowing water. In short, just as there is no knowable object, so too, you should know that there is no mind. If there is no object to be grasped, and no grasper either, if the other-dependent truly exists, empty of both, how can this existence be known? It cannot be said to exist without being grasped. It also cannot experience it. If it is established by later recollection, then it is asserting something unestablished in order to establish it. 1-757 This unestablished thing cannot be established. Although self-awareness relies on what is already established, the recollection of recollection is not reasonable, just as for another, it arises in a continuum of unawareness. This reasoning also refutes distinctions. Why? Because by whomever the object is experienced, this recollection is not mine. Therefore, I remember that I saw, this is worldly convention. Therefore, if there is no self-awareness, how will your other-dependent grasp? The agent, the action, and kārya (藏文:བྱ་བ།,梵文天城体:कार्य,梵文罗马拟音:kārya,汉语字面意思:action/deed/effect) are not one, so it cannot grasp it. If there is an other-dependent truly existing with its own nature, which is unborn and unknowing, why should this not exist? How can the son of a eunuch harm anyone? When there is not even a little bit of other-dependent existence, then what will become the cause of the conventional? According to the view of others, clinging to the real, then all worldly conventions are destroyed. On the path of Master Nāgārjuna, there is no method to attain peace through externalists. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
