Oh! Dream experience is that by focusing on the wind, even in dreams, the nature of shaking arises, such as dreaming of horses, etc. The second case is that those without oral instructions explain physical pain, etc., as imbalances in the body's elements; mental afflictions, etc., as self-arising and self-liberating afflictions; and dream experiences as self-arising and self-liberating dreams, thus not recognizing them as Samadhi. However, this school believes that these are three experiences arising from the union of wind and mind. The fourth point is: 'The three heats arise in order or not, let them be practiced as they come.' Here are two points: recognizing the three heats, and the way to practice them spontaneously. The first point is: the heat preceded by conceptual thought, the heat of the union of the nine constituents, and the heat of the burning and gathering of bindus (Tibetan: ཐིག་ལེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: बिन्दु, Sanskrit Roman: bindu, Literal meaning: drop/dot/seed). The second point is: these three heats arise in order or not, depending on whether the causal wind and mind are arranged in sequential or non-sequential interdependence, and the resulting heats also arise in order or not. Without clinging to any of them, recognizing them and practicing them is the meaning of spontaneous practice. The fifth point is: 'With three kinds of guidance like a leader, realize the differences in Samadhi experiences.' Here are three points: recognizing the three kinds of guidance, the reason for the metaphor of a leader, and the way to understand the differences in Samadhi experiences through it. The first point is: wind guidance, dhatu (Tibetan: ཁམས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: धातु, Sanskrit Roman: dhātu, Literal meaning: element/constituent) nectar guidance, and nadi (Tibetan: རྩ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: नाडी, Sanskrit Roman: nāḍī, Literal meaning: channel/vessel) syllable guidance. The second point is: why are these three kinds of guidance compared to a leader? For example, a leader can take all the merchants who need to be guided to any place they want to go without relying on others. Similarly, these three kinds of guidance can also take the alaya-vijnana (Tibetan: ཀུན་གཞིའི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: आल Vijñāna, Sanskrit Roman: Ālaya-vijñāna, Literal meaning: storehouse consciousness) that needs to be guided to the state of the thirteen Vajradharas (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་འཛིན་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रधर, Sanskrit Roman: Vajradhara, Literal meaning: Vajra holder) through these three kinds of guidance, hence the saying. The third point is: in the first gathering, the pricking sensation of the nadis and wind is strong; in the middle gathering, the pricking sensation of the nadis and wind is weakened; in the final gathering, the pricking sensation of the nadis and wind disappears, and the ability to eliminate harm such as imbalances in the body's elements arises. These are the differences in the experience of wind guidance. In the first gathering, Samadhi is unclear and unstable; in the middle gathering, Samadhi is clear and more stable; in the final gathering, there is no distinction between meditation and post-meditation, and it is not affected by external circumstances. These are the differences in the experience of dhatu nectar guidance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

are distinctions of experience. In the first confluence, uncertainty appears as illusion, accompanied by fear and sorrow, etc.; in the intermediate confluence, certainty appears as vision, experiencing the states of the six realms; in the final confluence, extreme certainty appears as clarity, from the peak of existence downwards, it becomes an experience of samadhi, and the thought arises. These are distinctions of experience guided by the root syllables. Thus, these three different experiences arise from three different ways of guiding the path. Although the worldly path is demarcated by the three confluences of elements (khams), and the transcendent path is demarcated by the four tenets, here only the three confluences are connected, so it is explained in this way. The sixth is: By combining the three examples with the three confluences, have no doubt about the boundaries of the path. There are three points here: identifying the three confluences of elements (khams); the way of combining the three examples with them; and the way of knowing the boundaries through it. The first point is: the first confluence of elements (khams), the intermediate confluence of elements (khams), and the final confluence of elements (khams). The second point is: Through the power of practice, in the first confluence of elements (khams), the winds go to all the channels and places, the knots of the channels are loosened, and the pricking of the channels and winds arises, which is like the winter wind with tools. In the intermediate confluence, through the power of practice, the knots of the channels are greatly loosened, and the winds and mind become slightly clear, so the pricking of the channels and winds subsides, which is like the spring wind with fewer tools. In the final confluence, through the power of stable practice, the knots of the channels are greatly loosened, and the winds and mind become very clear, so many benefits of samadhi arise, which is like the summer wind without tools. The third point is: Then, how do you know the boundaries through these three examples? If the pricking of the channels and winds is very strong, like the winter wind with tools, then you should know that you have reached the first confluence. If the pricking of the channels and winds subsides, like the spring wind with fewer tools, then you should know that you have reached the intermediate confluence. If countless qualities of samadhi arise, like the summer wind without tools, then you should know without doubt that you have reached the final confluence. The seventh is: Through the three interdependent originations complete in oneself, without other causes and conditions, be free from hope and fear. There are three points here: identifying the three interdependent originations; how they are complete in oneself; and how to be free from hope and fear through it. The first point is: the functioning of the wind (rlung)... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
