Regarding the views of the powerful, examining whether the treatises are valid, and among all valid treatises, the most supreme is examining whether the Buddha's views are valid teachings. The fourth is: When one of the fifteen faults arises in one's own mind, it is a valid experience. Without this validity, the other three validities will not arise in the mind of that yogi. Therefore, the first to arise is experiential validity. Then comes the validity of the lama, which is when the lama points out that such a fault has arisen in your mind, and it corresponds to what you have experienced, thereby generating faith in the lama as if he were the actual Buddha, which becomes the validity of the lama. The latter two validities are as previously explained. The second part has two aspects: definition and classification. The first is the definition: When a definite, special awareness arises in oneself, others cannot shake one's belief. The second is the classification: As previously explained, there are four types. The third part is about how to cut off elaboration with it, which has three aspects: the method of cutting off elaboration, the elaboration to be cut off, and how to cut it off. The first is the method of cutting off elaboration: the four validities mentioned above. The second is the elaboration to be cut off: the three, cause, path, and result. The third is how to cut it off: Among the three lineages, for the root lineage, there are the six causes of afflictions and the six results. Furthermore, all experiences of the path and result should be determined by the four validities. These methods can be understood from the explanations of the scriptures, but they are not described in detail here due to the fear of being too lengthy. The fourth part is about the four oral transmissions shown as paths: 'Cutting off elaboration through the four oral transmissions.' This again has three aspects: the method of cutting off elaboration, the elaboration to be cut off, and how to cut it off. The first is the method of cutting off elaboration: the four oral transmissions: the river of empowerment does not dry up, the lineage of blessings does not decline, the instructions do not become outdated, and the mind of devotion is able to be satisfied. First, the river of empowerment not drying up includes three aspects: the river of empowerment not drying up at the time of cause, the time of path, and the time of result. Second is: possessing the essence of the four extremes of secret mantra, which are the ultimate of practice, the ultimate of experience, the ultimate of blessing, and the ultimate of accomplishment. Third is: When the elements are merged through the three ways of merging, if obstacles such as attacks by demons arise, and experiences such as fear and dread arise, then just as it is difficult to pass through a narrow bridge, this should be understood as one's own path and dependent origination. Fourth is: When the lama points out that such experiences will occur, these experiences will arrive as expected, thereby generating a special certainty, and generating faith in the lama as if he were the Buddha. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To engage in Vipaśyanā (insight meditation) without inversion. Second, to sever elaboration, which refers to the practice of the three lineages mentioned above. Third, the method of how to sever is: such practices must also possess the four oral transmissions. If any one of the four is incomplete, it will not become the complete instruction of this school. These four also depend on the oral transmission of the previous lamas, and one must understand this with certainty. Fifth, the path shown as the five interdependencies: 'Cut the boundaries of the path with the five interdependencies.' This has two aspects: identifying the five interdependencies, and the manner of cutting the boundaries with them. First, the outer interdependence is: the reversal of wind energy and appearances, etc., which appear coarsely externally. The inner interdependence is: the interaction of wind and mind in the palaces of the letters of the channels. The secret interdependence is: in the path that transcends the world, the four mandalas become manifest, such as the mandala of nectar of the realms. The suchness interdependence is: from the first bhumi (level of realization) onwards, the outer sign appears as bindu (Tibetan: ཐིག་ལེ།, Sanskrit: bindu, Romanized Sanskrit: bindu, literal meaning: drop), the inner sign appears as wind energy, and the sign of suchness appears as qualities in the mind. The ultimate interdependence is: in the thirteenth bhumi, the four progressions dissolve. Second, the first two interdependencies cut the boundaries of the worldly path, and the latter three cut the boundaries of the transcendental path. Furthermore, the outer interdependence is the path of accumulation, the inner interdependence is the path of preparation, the secret interdependence is the path of seeing, the suchness interdependence is the path of meditation, and the ultimate interdependence is placed on the path of consummation. Here, four kinds of conceptualization arise: In the scriptures, on the common path of samsara and nirvana, the scriptures say there are seven aggregates, but here they are condensed into five, and the reason for showing the two in the context of the worldly path is what? Do the five, such as the three appearances, each show a complete path to enlightenment? Or do the five together show one path? If it is the former, showing any one is sufficient, and there is no need to show the others. If it is the latter, it contradicts the statement 'the practice of the three lineages is known without remainder.' The answer to the first question will be explained below. The answer to the second is: each of the five, such as the three appearances, shows a complete path to enlightenment, because each shows a common path of samsara and nirvana together with its result. Moreover, the five together --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
