Thereafter, in Lato Jang, at the retreat of Lhagong Rikhyi, he completed seven hundred thousand recitations of the root mantra (藏文:རྩ་སྔགས་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:root mantra), along with the supplementary fire offering. Finally, on the same cushion, he performed four million recitations of Śāsana. Then, at the age of fifty, in the year of the Snake, he saw the special auspicious connection of protecting the fish and wildlife of that region, and of the teachings of explanation and practice never ceasing. Therefore, he established Glingkha Dewachen Monastery. In the same year, he established the profound teachings of Niguma Lamdre, and so forth. All the monks residing there, on the basis of pure discipline, trained their minds through the mind training of the pāramitās, and focused on the oral instructions. He arranged for them to practice the yoga of the superior, continuously day and night; the intermediate, four sessions a day; and the inferior, two sessions a day. He also established the tradition of pure practice and offering of Dedga Three Secrets and Kunrig rituals. From then on, he mainly devoted himself to practice. Because he accepted the words of the Dharma Lord, he occasionally satisfied fortunate disciples with profound teachings such as the oral instructions. When I was two years old, he went to Ewam Choden Monastery once. Later, when I was nine years old, in the year of the Fire Tiger, he went to Ewam Choden Monastery again and received the oral instructions. At that time, the feet of Choje Zangpo had completed the explanation of the vows of the oral instructions. The Rinpungpa brothers, who ruled the vast land, invited him to give the empowerment of Nairātmyā to the Lamdrapa, and to proclaim the view of non-duality of samsara and nirvana. They said, 'This hand drum is the Dharma drum of Sakya Pandita, so sound the Dharma signal!' After saying this, they left. Afterwards, he stayed there for two months, fulfilling their request. Then, he went to glorious Nālandā Monastery and met Rongton Choje, and listened to the guidance on the Abhisamayalankara, the permission of White Achala, and the explanation of the Bhāvanākrama. Even though the great spiritual friends of that region, such as Langtang Chennga Kunga Gyaltsenpa, invited him with skillful means for the sake of requesting teachings, he did not stay there, but went to Mus. At the age of sixty-one, after the feet of Choje Zangpo had gone to Ngari, he satisfied the monks residing at Ewam Choden Monastery with many profound teachings such as the oral instructions, relying on handprints and instructions, and stayed there for one year.
