If the components increase or decrease, desires etc. will also have differences in increase or decrease, which is a common phenomenon. But desire does not completely disappear, because the factors that produce the same nature of desire etc. will not reverse. If you say so, then for all sentient beings, the size of desires etc. should also become the same, because the factors that produce the same nature of desires etc. have no difference in their generation. This statement is universally true, because the cognition of a cow arising from a cow with the same nature will not have the difference of 'this is a cow', 'this is a very cow', 'this is an extremely cow'. Or, just like in the case of thinking that creatures are born from soil etc., the creatures born from soil etc. will also have levels of differences such as 'creature', 'most creature', etc. To refute the claim that there is no detachment from desire through examples: The second case is, just as fire has differences in the degree of warmth, but there will not be a fire with absolutely no warmth. Here, although the increase or decrease of components will lead to differences in the increase or decrease of desires etc., it is impossible for desires to disappear completely, so the statement 'from existence to non-existence' is uncertain. If you say so, there is no problem, because our argument has a characteristic, which is 'having other increases and decreases', which does not apply to fire and warmth. Just like warmth, the nature of warmth is that you will not increase or decrease because of the increase or decrease of fire, because there is evidence that you are different from fire. Therefore, phenomena such as desire, you may be interrupted in the components, because you increase or decrease with the increase or decrease of the components in a way that is different from the components. This is universal, any attribute, an attribute that exists outside of the thing that has that attribute, those attributes that have differences in the degree of increase or decrease from the thing that has that attribute, the subsequent differences of that thing with that attribute will sometimes disappear. For example, attributes such as white, which are different from the components, will disappear in some subsequent component differences. To eliminate uncertainty through examples: The second case is, just as form etc. are newly produced from the components, but necessarily exist in the components, desires etc. are also like that, so the statement 'previously did not exist in the components' is uncertain. If you say so, phenomena such as desire, you are not necessarily present in the components like form etc., because form etc. are inseparable from the components, but you... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because they can be separated from 'generation'. If it is thought that 'form' etc. cannot be separated from 'generation', then is it the same for 'desire' etc.? If so, then 'form' etc., as the subject, your inseparability from 'generation' is not the same as 'desire' etc. If they are the same, then 'desire' etc. and 'generation', as the subject, will become arising together in all circumstances, because they are inseparable things, and thus there will be a fault. If it is thought that 'desire' etc. depend on external objective conditions, so even if there is 'generation', sometimes they will not arise, then 'desire' etc., as the subject, the external object of apprehension is also not what necessarily determines that you will sometimes arise, because even without an external object, you will arise merely by taking what you have conceptually constructed as an object. Therefore, 'desire' etc. are not necessarily certain to arise sometimes. Second, 'desire' etc. are not necessarily certain to arise sometimes: 'desire' etc., as the subject, for some individuals, it will not necessarily arise because they have no cause, because they lack a similar cause, that is, they lack a cause of the same kind. Or, if it is thought that 'generation' is the direct cause, then all minds of desire etc., as the subject, will arise for all individuals at all times, because for all individuals, their direct cause, 'generation', is present at all times. This is an acceptance of the thesis. Second, establishing characteristics such as impermanence, divided into four parts: establishing impermanence, suffering, selflessness, and emptiness. First, establishing impermanence: The aggregates of appropriation, as the basis of the truth of suffering, as the subject, are impermanent, because they are sometimes observed, that is, they arise. Second, establishing suffering: The aggregates of appropriation, as the subject, are suffering, because they are the fault, the root of clinging to 'I' and 'mine', and the basis of birth, old age, sickness, death, etc., and also because they are under the control of the cause—craving. Third, establishing selflessness: The aggregates of appropriation, as the subject, are not 'self', because they do not conform to the nature of 'self', because they are impermanent, diverse, and dependent. Fourth, establishing emptiness: The aggregates of appropriation, as the subject, are also not the 'mine' blessed by 'self', because 'self' is not your blesser, because 'self' is not your cause, because 'self' is permanent. This is pervasive, because how can a permanent thing produce a result? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
