Therefore, it is pervasive. Because love and other similar things grow from the previous basis, just as the later jump grows more than the previous jump, and not every jump depends on the body's effort. Then, would it be possible to jump as well after practicing as from the time when one had not practiced initially? Because there is no difference in strength and effort before and after. Answer: The person who jumps, as a subject, will not jump as well after practicing as from the time when one had not practiced initially, because from the time when one had not practiced initially, phlegm and other factors have an adverse effect on the body, causing it to be heavy. Even if the adverse factors are gradually eliminated later through effort, the person who jumps, as a subject, will not jump infinitely, because the range of jumping is limited to the strength of one's own body. Refuting the argument of excessive inference: Fourth, if love and other things grow from self-awareness, then everyone has self-awareness, so it will grow infinitely. Answer: Ordinary people, as subjects, love and other things do not grow infinitely, because love arises from its own seed, and if its own seed is not affected by previous hatred and other adverse factors, then the mind-continuum will become the nature of love, but you have obstacles such as hatred. If there are no obstacles and one is accustomed to favorable conditions, then love and other things will grow infinitely, because this habit is the previous and previous mind-dharmas, such as love and non-attachment wisdom, which are the root of the manifestation of differences in other later things. Elaborating on the example of establishing one's own position: Third, elaborating on the example of establishing one's own position. If there is no example of love and other things not growing infinitely, then what is the example of infinite growth like? Answer: There is an example of love, through habit, becoming the nature of love that intends to save sentient beings from suffering, just as detachment, attachment, and aversion (contemplation of impurity) arise naturally by themselves through practice. The way in which a teacher arises from that: Second, there are four ways in which a teacher arises from that: the way in which love guides the teacher to be upright; the way in which the object and aspect of the teacher are purified; the manifestation of the object and aspect becoming natural through habit; therefore, thought and action become the cause. The way in which love guides the teacher to be upright: First, if it is said that 'the cause of accomplishment is compassion,' then how does it become the cause of accomplishment? Generally, it is merely the cause --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even if actions are mistaken, as long as the cause exists, the result will naturally arise. Just as with craving, the heap of suffering naturally arises. Therefore, if one has spontaneously arising compassion, then the teacher and the latter three will naturally arise, thus becoming proof. Compassionate One, in order to destroy the suffering of others, you engage in pacifying your own suffering and the subsequent corresponding paths, because you wish to truly show others the method of pacifying suffering. This is necessary, because if one does not truly understand the cause of suffering and the method of pacifying suffering, it is difficult to truly tell others. How the Teacher Purifies the Object: It is divided into three parts: Examining the cause and nature of what should be abandoned; Examining the antidote to destroy this cause; Explaining the abandonment and antidote established through examination. Examining the Cause and Nature of What Should Be Abandoned: First, established through experiencing suffering, Compassionate One, you analyze the cause of suffering with scripture and reason, examining which cause of suffering can destroy the result of suffering by abandoning it, and that this cause is impermanent, and knowing the nature of the characteristics of karma and so on, because you wish to destroy the result of suffering. This is necessary, because if the cause of suffering still exists, one will not see the result of suffering disappear. Examining the Antidote to Destroy This Cause: Second, Compassionate One, you examine the opposite of the cause of suffering, because you wish to destroy the cause of suffering. Having examined in this way, Compassionate One, you will also necessarily determine the opposite of the cause of suffering, because you want to understand the essence of the cause of suffering. Just as knowing the disease, one can recognize the medicine. Explaining the Abandonment and Antidote Established Through Examination: So, what is the cause of suffering and its antidote? The attachment to the aggregates of the five skandhas, arising from clinging to 'I' and 'mine,' that is, craving, is the main cause of suffering, because it autonomously generates suffering. And the wisdom that sees selflessness is the harmer and antidote to the cause of suffering. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
