(Trinley Tharpay)

Predictions were made through various means regarding gaining control over her treasures. In the tenth month of the Hor (Mongolian calendar), while residing at Byangchub Ling in Lhodrak Chak, on the 25th day, the catalog of the first profound treasure was manifestly found in a rock shelter. In the eighteenth Rabjung Water Rabbit year, on the evening of the 25th day of the fourth month of the Hor, the Dakinis prophesied the time and date for extracting the treasure. At dawn on the 5th day of the fifth month of the Hor, taking the attendant Wangchuk Gyal, he secretly departed from the monastery on foot. On the 7th, they arrived at Drakmar Yamalung. On the 8th and 9th, they performed smoke offerings, Torma offerings, Tsok offerings, and prayers. Around sunrise on the 10th, on the south side of the Life-Water Rock at that place, from the side of a rock resembling a reclining tiger, a birch bark box filled with red and brown fragments, and a Gau box filled with Lha-bas amulets were taken as secret treasures. At the treasure site, offerings of jewels, grains, medicines, etc., were buried. A Ganachakra offering of gratitude was made. At dawn on the 12th, they returned to the monastery as before. On the 13th, the birch bark box was opened, and the Dharma class of the Longevity Sadhana Essence Union (Tsedrup Yangnying Kundu), and longevity pills sealed with ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan) HRIḤ (Sanskrit Devanagari) hrīḥ (Sanskrit Romanization) Hrih (Literal Chinese meaning) appeared. In the Wood Dragon year, while residing in seclusion at Samye Chimphu, the treasure container Gau box was opened, and the Dharma cycle of the profound Dharma Rigdzin Thugthik, and two Guru statues, large and small, and the Damdza Myongdrol Le'u Sum (Three Chapters of Experiential Liberation) appeared. At that time, Orgyen (Uddiyana, Padmasambhava) and his consort bestowed blessings and empowerments of longevity, etc. In the sixth month of the Wood Snake year, he went to Yamalung and performed a seven-day longevity sadhana. In the eighth month, he performed a month-long Vidyadhara recitation and accomplishment in the Dargyeling retreat chamber. After that, he entrusted it to the root Dharma Lord Lochen Rinpoche and Palri Tulku, etc. At the age of twenty-two, at dawn on the 10th day of the third month of the Fire Sheep year, the Dakinis of the Pure Land of Khechara offered the bliss of the Four Joys and presented the catalog of the second profound treasure. This was while residing in seclusion at the Dargyeling retreat chamber. On the evening of the 3rd day of the eighth month, in a dream, the treasure protector Dorje Lekpa urged the time for extracting the treasure, etc. At dawn on the 5th, the close attendant Trinley Tharpay

Yes, the steward Tenzin and his three servants put on the clothes of yogis and secretly left the monastery. On the seventh day, at dusk, they arrived at the sacred site of Yarlung Shelbrag (now Zang County, Shannan). On the morning of the eighth day, they performed a tsok offering with the lamas and disciples who lived there. At noon, he went by means of miraculous powers to the east side of the sacred site, to the rock face that resembled a banner, a place that was like a mirror and frightening to see, and entered a cave that was like a tent. A beautiful young woman offered two scrolls of paper, and a man dressed in white clothes, as handsome as a man, offered a full embrace of triangular rhinoceros hide amulets. After accepting them, he returned as before and stayed in the sacred site. He stayed inside in stages, and returned to the monastery around twelve o'clock. Opening the scrolls and amulets, they were the Dharma cycles of Manjushri Peaceful and Wrathful. From the twentieth of that month, he spent two months in his private chamber practicing the Manjushri Yamari, during which time, in a real vision, he went to the pure land of the Auspicious Lotus Light, and manifested as the body of Orgyen Padma Vajra, the venerable Manjushri. The entire sky appeared as the mandala of Manjushri Wrathful, and in the presence of the great translator Vairochana and Kharchen Tsogyal, they performed the actions of the karma vajra, and completely received the four empowerments. Afterwards, the appearance of the mandala dissolved into light, transforming into the great Orgyen himself. Vairochana and Tsogyal imparted and bestowed the profound meanings of the secret instructions. Then, he entrusted them to the Dharma Lord, the Fifth Dalai Lama, his younger brother, and the king's son, among others. At the age of twenty-nine, in the eleventh month of the Wood Tiger year, when he was staying in Lhodrak Karpo Sang, at dawn on the tenth day, in a dream, a dakini of the sky-goers wearing the clothes of a Monmo, offered the catalogs of the third and fourth treasures together. At the age of thirty, in the Snake month of the Wood Rabbit year, it was the time to extract the profound treasures such as the Yangdak practice cycle from the top floor of Pal Samye Utse, and if it could be extracted, by this auspicious connection, there would be a treasure of the great treasure master Dorje Lingpa in Mount Wutai in China.
