From the womb, one goes to hell; from the water passage, to animals; from the mouth, to hungry ghosts; from the nose, to asuras and yakshas; from the eyes, to humans of high and low status; from the ears, to accomplished gods and kinnaras; from the navel, to the desire realm; from the forehead, to the form realm; from the crown of the head, to the gods of the formless realm. Therefore, to block these destinations, the Second Buddha of Oddiyana (Padmasambhava) said: "Close the nine doors and open one door; if consciousness is transferred there, one will transcend the six realms and attain supreme accomplishment." Therefore, visualize the nine doors, except for the Brahma aperture, as if the holes were sealed with mud, blocked by nine red, radiant HRIH Recite the nine HRIH Now, your body is upright, without focusing on other channels, like a single pillar in an empty room, which is the path of Bodhi's space-faring. The central channel is white on the outside, red and blue on the inside, straight like the trunk of a water tree, bright like a sesame oil lamp, red and clear as if boiled with madder, thin like a lotus petal, possessing four characteristics. Its upper end, about the size of a medium-sized iron tube, is wide open like the sky at the Brahma aperture on the crown of the head. The lower end is closed and blocked with a blunt end four fingers below the navel. In the heart center, as if a bamboo node has been cut off, there is a red eight-petaled lotus with its stamen. In the essence of the union of your wind and mind, there is an unchanging bindu, about the size of a bean. It has a white and red luster, and like a freshly laid bird's egg, it possesses five kinds of light. Visualize it as bright and shining, oily and round, existing with a trembling vibration as if about to fly on the path of the Brahma aperture. Regarding this, Father Dampa said: "Death is not death, but a small transference for a yogi." Thus, your consciousness needs to be transferred to the heart of Amitabha. In the Sutra of the Pure Land of Bliss, it says: "In that Buddha-field, if there are beings who direct their minds correctly to that land, when the time of death approaches, that Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Amitabha, will appear with his color, form, retinue, and teachings, just as they are."

That Samadhi of seeing the Tathagata and generating great faith, and, with unfailing mindfulness, one will be reborn in that Buddha-field after death. Thus it is said. Whichever sentient beings hear my name, sentient beings of many thousands of worlds, those will come to my field, and after only one lifetime, they will not return. Thus and so forth it was said. Above your own Brahma-randhra, in the sky about one cubit high, on a jeweled throne supported by eight great peacocks, in the center of a thousand-petaled red lotus, on a moon cushion, the essence is the embodiment of all Buddhas of the three times, the incomparable treasure of great compassion, the glorious root guru. The form is the Bhagavan Lord Amitabha, body color red, like a mountain of ruby embraced by a billion young suns. Limitless light and rays radiate. The supreme emanation body, with the appearance of a celibate. Adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks. Wearing the three robes of a monk. The two hands in the gesture of meditative equipoise, holding a begging bowl filled with nectar. Since he does not abide in the extremes of samsara and nirvana, the two feet are in the vajra posture. To his right is the embodiment of the compassion of all the Buddhas, the noble Avalokiteśvara, white in color. To his left is the embodiment of the power and strength of all the Buddhas, the bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta, body color blue. Both have their right hands in the gesture of granting refuge. The left hands hold a white lotus, and a blue utpala flower marked with a vajra, blooming near the ear, with the stem held at the heart. Adorned with the thirteen ornaments of the complete enjoyment body. For the sake of benefiting beings, free from weariness, the two feet are in a standing posture. Surrounding him are the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, an inconceivable host. Especially the lineage gurus of this profound path, and the assembly of the Three Roots, the ocean of Buddhas, and the oath-bound protectors. All are the play of forms and signs, appearing in whatever way is suitable to the inclinations of the beings to be tamed. Speech
