That is, in the Tantra of Manifestation of Conduct, it is said: Writing letters, offering and giving, listening, reading, and holding, explaining and reciting, contemplating the meaning and meditating, these ten are the gateways to the Dharma, the footprints of the guides. So it is said. The practice of distinguishing between samsara and nirvana is also the same as before. Here, the practice of asceticism on the path is: in order to make the view and meditation compatible and play a role, if one is attached, one expands the scope with fellow practitioners; if one is detached and experienced, one wanders in the cemetery or empty place like a beggar or a wounded beast, like a bee, and like a beast, a mute, an owl, a madman, a lion, a dog and a pig, the seven practices, in accordance with the order of the faculties, are called the practice of asceticism and freedom. The way to practice it is: relying on one's own faculties and abilities, starting from the beginner, seeking to hear and think, like a bee, until happiness and suffering, good and bad are equal, and becoming the practice of yoga freedom, these seven ways naturally, without hindrance, when the conditions are ripe. As the Tantra says: The nature of practice is equal taste, practice on the path of self-arising and self-liberation. As the Self-Arising says: The uncreated practice is self-arising, uncreated, unadorned, it is the great practice. As the Tantra says: The number of practices is summarized as seven, the practice is asceticism and freedom. As the Union of Sun and Moon says: The practice like a bee, tastes the taste of all dharmas; the practice like a beast, abandons the objects that become the cause of delusion; the practice like a mute, completely abandons the language of delusion; the practice like an owl, cuts off the doubts of secret means; the practice like a madman, abandons the place of dwelling; the practice like a lion, abandons the mind of fear, wanders in the cemetery; the practice like a dog and a pig, abandons the distinctions of purity and impurity. So it is said. The Yoga of the Fruit. Fourth, regarding the yoga of the fruit, firmly occupying and not retreating is the nature of the fruit, and the base itself matures through the path, so it is called the fruit. If classified, there are two types.

The temporary fruits are those that ripen together on the path. The ultimate fruit is when all the actions, habits, and obscurations of the three doors naturally arise and are naturally liberated like a snake's knot. This is called the pure and spontaneously accomplished fruit. The way to practice it is to place awareness on whatever appears and arises. When habit becomes natural, the way appearances, emptiness, and luminosity arise becomes a natural state free from acceptance, rejection, hope, and doubt, and stability is quickly attained. Furthermore, the tantra says, "Fruit is called the secure ground, like a king occupying his throne, it is unchanging and irreversible." It also says, "Maturation is called fruit." And, "If fruit is divided, it is included in two: temporary and ultimate." And, "The way fruit ripens is shown: it is not destroyed by conditions and does not reverse." The Vajrasattva Heart Mirror says, "Know that all the qualities of the fruit do not revert from the three kayas." And so on. Yoga of Time. Second, the continuous yoga related to that is, as it is said in the tantra, "In order to place virtue on the scale, one should train in the yoga of the four times." Therefore, divide it into four times: dawn, morning, afternoon, and night. For those with distractions, divide the dawn time into three parts. In the first part, practice guru yoga and pray. In the middle part, practice trekchö. In the last part, practice bliss-emptiness and tummo. In the morning time, in the first third, from dawn until sunrise, do recitations and study, etc. Then, until noon, practice tögal. At noon, do circumambulation and a little rest. In the afternoon time, in the first half, in the afternoon, also abide in tögal, and in the evening, do torma offerings, dharma practice, and wind retention. In the night time, in the first third, contemplate death and impermanence. In the middle part, do generation stage and recitation. At noon, blend sleep into luminosity. Alternatively, for a person without distractions, practice tögal in the morning and afternoon sessions of the day, that is, practice in the two times of morning and afternoon, and practice lügu gyü during the day. For the two sessions of the night, the body posture is squatting, covering the eyes with the fingers, and lightly pressing the space between the eyebrows without weight.
