The actual explanation of the extraordinary path. The actual explanation of the extraordinary path. The way to abandon the activities of the three doors of preliminary practices. Secondly, in the actual explanation of the supreme path that reveals the spontaneously accomplished, uncontaminated wisdom, which is profound and vast and dwells within oneself, through the extraordinary instruction of the clear light Tögal, there are three aspects: the way to abandon the activities of the three doors of preliminary practices, the way the uncontaminated wisdom of the main practice arises, and the way the appearances of subsequent experiences manifest. First, the method of pacifying the winds and awareness by abandoning the activities of the three doors in nine ways is taught. As it is stated in the "Klongsal": "In order to introduce the key point of direct perception, the outer, inner, and secret activities are abandoned in nine ways by body, speech, and mind." And: "The body, for the sake of abandoning activities, should abide alone, without companions, abandoning activities of Dharma and worldly affairs. The speech should abandon idle talk and Dharma practices, and train oneself to be like a mute. The mind should cut off the movements of past worldly affairs and abide in stillness." Thus, if the activities of the three doors are not abandoned in nine ways, the winds and awareness will not be pacified, and one will not be able to abide in practice. Therefore, with regard to the body, externally abandon worldly activities such as trade and agriculture; internally abandon inferior virtuous activities such as prostrations and circumambulations; and secretly abandon distractions and the movements of gatherings, abiding alone like a corpse or a clay figure. With regard to speech, externally abandon various kinds of false and idle talk; internally abandon recitations and repetitions; and secretly abandon Dharma talks and stories, abandoning all other verbal expressions, abiding silently like a mute. With regard to the mind, externally abandon various kinds of false thoughts; internally abandon thoughts about Dharma and the mind's clinging to the generation and completion stages; and secretly abandon the movements of conceptual thoughts, even cutting off thoughts of attachment and aversion, abiding in a state of non-thought. Therefore, as a sign that the activities of body, speech, and mind have been abandoned, one should repeat this until one has no desire to engage in any of the activities of the three doors. If one does not abandon activities from the essential point, it will be difficult for the wisdom of awareness to arise in the mind-stream. If one abandons them, then temporarily the three doors will not follow delusion, and ultimately uncontaminated wisdom will quickly arise in the mind-stream. Also, as it is stated in the "Klongsal": "Without being engaged in activities, one does not abide in continuity, therefore one does not touch the meaning of awareness." And: "When the delusions of body and speech are cut off, the wisdom mind-stream

It will abide there. Thus it is said. Thereafter, if one dies, some will encounter this Dharma in the next life and attain complete Buddhahood. Most will undoubtedly be liberated in the state of primordial purity in the bardo. Thus said Longchenpa. The main practice: How uncontaminated wisdom arises. The key points of the three doors. The key point of the body. Second, the way to rely on the continuum of uncontaminated wisdom of the main practice. The key points of the three doors. Introducing the direct manifestation into oneself with the four key points. Introducing the meaning of the introduction. First, the way to hold the key points of the three doors. In the *Transcending Mind*, it says: "The key point of manifestation is body, speech, and mind. Each of their key points should be well adjusted." Thus, of the three doors, the first is the key point of the body. There are four aspects: the way to hold the key point, the actual holding of the key point, the faults of not holding the key point, and the benefits of holding the key point. The way to hold the key point of the body is: In the *Longchen Rabjam*, it says: "Although awareness has transformed to abide in the body, if the illusory wheels are not subdued, it cannot appear as the power of wisdom." Thus, the appearance of awareness, the nature of reality, is inherently abiding in oneself. Desiring it to be seen manifestly by the senses, it is first said that the key points of body and speech must be held. Among them, the actual holding of the key point is: In the *Transcending Mind*, it says: "The body should not depart from the posture of the three kayas." And in the *String of Pearls*, it says: "The key point of the body is threefold: the posture of a lion, the posture of an elephant, and abiding like a sage." And in the *After Death Text*, it says: "Establish the posture of an elephant, lion, and sage." Thus it is said, the posture of the Dharmakaya is: sitting on a cushion in the dog posture like a lion, with the two knees slightly spread outwards, the two soles of the feet joined in front, thereby suppressing the moving winds. Placing the thumb at the base of the index finger, with the other fingers curled on top, placing the two palms on the ground in the center or inside of the soles of the feet, thereby balancing the elements. Straightening the parts of the body, raising the upper body, thereby allowing the winds to flow smoothly. Straightening the head and neck, raising the head, thereby greatly increasing the power to stop conceptual thoughts. Gazing unblinkingly at the sky between the eyebrows, thereby obtaining the vajra eyes. This posture and way of seeing temporarily separates one from all the fears of delusion. The inner elements are exhausted in their own place. Ultimately, one realizes the meaning of the true nature of reality.
