Just as ripples are formed when a stone is thrown into a clear lake or pond, circular light spots with clear and bright five-colored halos appear, and within them, the self-arisen wisdom lamp, like the mind of the Vajra Knot (Dorje Lugu Gyü, Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ལུ་གུ་རྒྱུད།) holder, appears clearly. It must be recognized through the distinction of three aspects of one essence: experiencing the inner, extremely objectless awareness is the essence of wisdom; the sharp and swift wisdom of objective consciousness; and the spontaneous manifestation of the meaning of words and sentences is the capacity of wisdom; and the awareness of insight, appearing like a Vajra Knot initially tied on a horse's tail, or like a pearl necklace, or like floating gold threads, or like a bouquet of flowers, is considered the radiance of wisdom. As it is said in the Root Tantra: "From the precious palace-like mind, the part of the essence that is pure from the beginning, the union of emptiness and clarity is the radiance of the body, the complete face and limbs are the form of the vase body, naturally present in a sphere of light, the colors of compassion are each distinct." Furthermore, in the Great Perfection Wisdom Realm Tantra, it says: "Connected from the heart to the eye, the self-arisen great secret vein, has a Kati crystal hollow tube." Also, as said in the Golden Garland: "The vein connected to the precious ocean, white and soft with an empty interior, unstained by bindu blood, great wisdom flows from there." And as said in the Tantra: "Especially connected from the mind, the silk thread as thick as a yak's tail hair, pierces the eye of the senses, all dharmata is the path." And as said in the Self-Arisen: "The four lamps are like this: the lamp of the empty bindu, the lamp of awareness's dharmadhatu, the lamp of self-arisen wisdom, and the lamps of the far-reaching water, reside in all sentient beings." Thus it is said.

Therefore, the seen awareness of Vajra Chains, subtle and flowing, like a horse's tail knot or wire mesh, or like a flower net. Two-linked, three-linked, etc., appear, and in the center of the five swirling lights of space, like a peacock's feathers. Bindu, round like a bean, up to the size of a region, like throwing a stone into water, or like blowing bubbles, imprisoned in a fence like a prisoner, and meditate. And, at first, like a mirage, with movement and flickering, appearing vaguely and unclearly, but gradually guided by the way of looking, when entering the fence of space. Analyzing the right and wrong of light, and if you fall into the error of conceptual thoughts, thinking of the chain as a real thing, there is a danger of being bound by obstacles and detours. Therefore, for the nature of awareness itself, only look at and know it. For the nature of reality itself, which is self-illuminating, without any mental modification, alteration, or speculative clinging. Rely on it with a stable posture without deviating from the point. If the appearance of clear light is unclear, or distorted up and down, left and right, etc. Do not follow it closely with your eyes and mind, but guide it slowly from the corner of your eye with the way of looking, and when it appears as before, focus on it without moving your mind, and do not disturb it with clinging thoughts. In the unspeakable, free from elaboration, maintain your own code of conduct, and you should learn and get used to it. The sign of accomplishment is that the Vajra Chains stay still without moving. Therefore, the more clear and powerful the inner channels and elements are, the more the clear light of space awareness will be separated from the eyebrow, and appear without dimming, etc. The object and the subject are indistinguishably mixed, the dependence on external conditions gradually decreases, and the practice of the four appearances increases. The experiences of appearance and awareness gradually arise. In this regard, because it is seen with the eyes of water bubbles, it must be transported to the place of exhaustion. If seen with the eyes of wisdom, the determination of the order is abandoned, and it can be exhausted simultaneously. If it is neither, for some people with good roots, there are also uncertain ways of appearing. Because the differences between individuals are inconceivable. None of these should be regarded as signs of the path, the factors of heat and moisture.
