Remaining only in unobstructed direct perception and clear compassion, in other respects, all experiences, body, senses, thoughts, words, and confusions are exhausted, thoughts naturally vanish, and because the aggregates are exhausted, one irreversibly attains Buddhahood in the light body. As stated in the Root Tantra: "The appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata is when the appearance of experience is empty, the body is exhausted, and the realm of the senses is also exhausted. Thoughts and confusions are naturally liberated, and one is separated from the words of expression." And: "Although the result cannot be expressed, when all dharmas have reached exhaustion, one's own accomplished limit is also destroyed. At this time, the guru's instructions disappear. The limits of view, meditation, and conduct are exhausted, and the appearance of the Dharmakaya is neither existent nor nonexistent. Because the continuity of body and wisdom is severed, there is no Buddha and no sentient being. In short, nothing remains. There is no going and no coming." So it is said. Here, if one wishes to manifest as the body of the Great Transference to benefit sentient beings, then because one has power over rebirth, appearances gradually diminish. When awareness is directed towards the appearance of fingers being entwined with light, one is self-liberated from that appearance, and the environment and beings appear like water moons and dreams. One's own body appears like a rainbow, without inherent existence, merely empty and transparent. Others, because their eyes are not pure, do not see it, but one sees it oneself, and in it there is no birth, death, aging, or decay. One can benefit sentient beings with a vajra-like body, like the great teacher father and mother, and the great scholar Vimalamitra. If one is not inclined to perform vast benefit for others at that time in that very form, then because one has power over entering, one enters the inner space. Again, one manifests from the radiance of abiding in the inner clarity of dharmata. With the activity of inseparable body and wisdom, one can benefit others until samsara is empty, like the spontaneously accomplished activity of the three bodies of the Lord of Sages. In other paths and in Trekchö, the body dissolves into particles, and the mind dissolves into dharmata, merely liberating into original purity. Thus, dissolving into particles and being clear in light, having power over both birth and entering, is a unique characteristic of Tögal alone. Thus, by temporarily attaining the measure of the four visions, the boundaries of each are distinguished, and ultimately, by seeing the vision of the exhaustion of dharmas, one becomes a Buddha without remainder of the aggregates. Otherwise, if it is not exhausted in this way, there is remainder.

also will not change. The tantra says: Thus, after the continuous arising of the body is cut off, the contaminated aggregates are no longer visible, and here one manifestly attains Buddhahood. It also says: If the nature of reality is not exhausted, it will not become without remainder. Explanation of the practice of the four supports. Establishing a foundation on the three immovables. The second is the explanation of the practice of the four supports. From "Longsal": The four types of support instructions, it is impossible not to have them behind the former. Although the essential point of the meaning is not grasped, the former, that is, what is needed behind the four appearances, are: establishing a foundation, measuring, fixing, and the degree of liberation. Among these, the first is establishing a foundation on the three immovables. One should not move from the three ways of sitting the body. That is, when the body does not move, the channels do not move; when the channels do not move, the wind does not move; when the wind does not move, the mind does not move; when the mind does not move, the moving thoughts are cut off and one abides in awareness. One should not move from the way of looking with the eyes. Because it is the essential channel of awareness, its essential door, its essential lamp, if the channel does not move, the eyes do not move; if the eyes do not move, the lamp does not move, so the increase and clinging of appearances disappear, and the dharmadhatu awareness is inseparable. One should not move from the effortless wind and mind. In this way, conceptual thoughts will not arise, and arising and liberation are simultaneous. There is a need to realize the union of dharmadhatu awareness. The root tantra says: Have faith in these supports, and after establishing a foundation on the three immovables, the wind and mind will reach the essential point. Measuring with the three abidings. The second is measuring with the three abidings. When the wind that moves external appearances is exhausted, the dharmadhatu awareness abides without coming and going. By abiding in this way, the pure land reaches its measure. When the wind that moves the internal aggregates is exhausted, the body abides without moving. By abiding in this way, the delusions of samsara are purified. When the wind that moves secret thoughts is exhausted, conceptual thoughts abide without moving. By abiding in this way, the causes for the mind's conceptual thoughts to move are exhausted. At that time, there will be two things: the measure is shown by dreams, and signs appear in the three doors. First, the measure is grasped by dreams. Those with sharp faculties and great diligence, their dreams dissolve into the dharmadhatu, their sleep is purified, and luminosity itself appears. This is because the connections of habitual patterns are cut off, so in this life, the light body is accomplished and it is a sign of attaining Buddhahood. Those of middling capacity know and transform in dreams.
